When a reservation where the number of days from today to a date of use exceeds the number of days of a credit period is requested, an information processing apparatus checks validity of the designated credit card. At this time, if the designated credit card can be confirmed to be valid, the information processing apparatus accepts the reservation and stores information of the designated credit card in a storage means. The information processing apparatus checks the validity of the designated credit card on or after a date on which the number of days from the date to a date of use of a service whose reservation is accepted is the number of the credit days on the basis of the information stored in the storage means.
