  • Publication number: 20110029838
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for transmission, a device and a method for reception, and a program that make it possible to obtain an undetected error probability characteristic close to a limit value in a system using a CRC for a plurality of pieces of data having different code lengths. A generator polynomial for header data which generator polynomial is used when a CRC coding process is performed on header data and a generator polynomial for sub-header data which generator polynomial is used when the CRC coding process is performed on sub-header data are set in a transmitting device 101. The transmitting device 101 selects a generator polynomial according to data set as an object of the CRC coding process. The generator polynomial for header data is a generator polynomial whose undetected error probability becomes lower when used for data of 176 bits equal to the code length of header data.

  • Patent number: 7709578
Abstract: An adhesive of the present invention is used for polarizing plate to provide a transparent protective film on at least one side of a polarizer and comprises a resin solution comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, a crosslinking agent and a leveling agent containing an acetylene skeleton-containing compound, wherein 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of the leveling agent is added to 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin. The adhesive for polarizing plate can provide a satisfactory wettability when applied to transparent protective films and allows the production of polarizing plates to have water resistance at high temperature and satisfactory optical properties.

  • Publication number: 20100079862
Abstract: As the polarizing fiber of the present invention, the cross sectional form perpendicular to the longitudinal direction has a sea-island structure, and the cross sectional form is continuously made up in the longitudinal direction. A resin (sea component) that constitutes the sea region of the sea-island structure comprises a dichroic dye, and a resin (island component) that constitutes the island regions of the sea-island structure is a transparent resin. The polarizing fiber of the present invention may be used as a forming material of a polarizer, for example. By using the above polarizing fiber, a polarizer wherein unevenness of the transmittance is small and cracks are less generated may be formed.

  • Publication number: 20050166123
Abstract: A transmission/reception system is provided. In a transmitter, error correction data is added to each set of N TS packets, an RTP packet is generated by collecting M (N>M) TS packets with the added error correction data and sequentially assigning a sequence number to each set of the M TS packets, and each RTP packet is transmitted by converting the RTP packets into data transmittable to a receiver. In the receiver, the data from the transmitter is received, the RTP packet is acquired from the data received, it is judged, from the sequence number of the RTP packet, whether there is any dropped packet not received, and the dropped packet is corrected by using the RTP packets, if there is a dropped packet not received.
