Patent number: 8821339Abstract: A sun gear member, planetary gear members, a first ring gear member, and a second ring gear member together form a paradox gear mechanism. A clutch mechanism is disposed between an input gear member and the first ring gear member. The clutch mechanism rotates the first ring gear member, when the input gear member rotates. The clutch mechanism disconnects transmission of the power to the input gear member when the first ring gear member rotates. The sun gear member and the first ring gear member are individual input elements. When one of the sun gear member and the first ring gear member exclusively rotates, the second ring gear member rotates in accordance with the rotation. The sun gear transmits power more reliably without increasing manufacturing cost and without thwarting downsizing of the product.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2010Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: Tamron Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masashi Shinya, Takashi Tamura

Patent number: 7515355Abstract: The present invention is directed to a compact zoom lens that attains a reduction in outermost diameter of the lens barrel and weight and that greatly enhances a forward stroke of a first group of lenses. The compact zoom lens has a telescopic structure of a grouped-lens sliding frame, a first cam barrel, and a linearly movable barrel underlaying a fixed barrel one over another in this order, with a second cam barrel overlaying the same. Both the lens-group sliding frame and the first cam barrel are fixed in rotational direction and are engaged with each other so as to enable a relative rotation with each other along the optical axis, and the rotation of the first cam barrel is transmitted to the second cam barrel by means of the lens-group sliding frame.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2006Date of Patent: April 7, 2009Assignee: Tamron Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satoshi Todani, Masashi Shinya

Patent number: 6969208Abstract: A slider for a solid paste dispenser has a planar base portion and a tubular portion projecting from the center of the base portion into a solid paste. A screw rod extends through the base and tubular portions and is engaged therewith in threaded manner, and the tubular portion has as an integral part thereof a radially outwardly extending protrusion or a number of such protrusions so formed as to satisfy the equation S0?SM?S1+S2+ . . . +Sn where S0 stands for the area (cm2) of the upper surface of the base portion, S1 to Sn each stand for the area (cm2) of the lower surface of one of the n protrusions, and SM stands for a maximum area (cm2) of S1 to Sn in which each of S0 and S1 to Sn excludes the area occupied by the tubular portion.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2003Date of Patent: November 29, 2005Assignee: Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masashi Shinya

Patent number: 6761200Abstract: A device for transferring a coating onto a paper or like surface from the outer surface of a transfer tape extending around a transfer head protruding from a casing and having a pair of transversely spaced apart guide members. A protective cover is held within the casing when the device is used and has a front end portion adapted to protrude from the casing for protecting the coating on the unused portion of the transfer tape when the device is out of use. The cover has an engaging portion formed on the inner surface of its front end portion for engaging with the bottom edges of the guide member at its front end to hold the cover in its position in which the device is out of use, while the engaging portion is engageable with a supporting portion formed on the casing to hold the cover in its position in which the device is in use.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2003Date of Patent: July 13, 2004Assignee: Tombow Pencil Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masashi Shinya
