  • Patent number: 6592110
Abstract: A switchable liquid-filled vibration absorbing mount has a stopper device interposed between a first diaphragm and a bottom portion for regulating downward movement of pushing member when a vacuum is introduced into a switching chamber, so that a protrusion of a valve member does not come out of an inner orifice when a vacuum is applied to the switching chamber to move the first diaphragm to a first position opening the orifice.

  • Patent number: 6540215
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a liquid sealed type vibration isolator capable of positioning a partition excellently with the construction of the partition simplified, and maintaining stable damping characteristics of an orifice. To meet the requirements, an outer circumferential portion of the partition forming the orifice is made so that the outer circumferential portion defines at least a part of one or two sides of a cross section of the orifice, and a positioning device formed of a partition press fitting or inserting structure with respect to a groove, or a partition engaging structure is provided in a joint portion between the partition and the other orifice forming member with the construction of the partition simplified, whereby it is rendered possible to improve the accuracy of the partition and obtain a desired cross section of the orifice.

  • Patent number: 6439554
Abstract: There is provided a switchable liquid-filled vibration isolating mount that damps each of shaking vibration and idling vibration by opening and closing an orifice, and that maintain a stable and reliable operation for a long period. First and second fixtures are joined together by a vibration isolating base body to form an inner space defined thereby. This inner space is partitioned by a partitioner and first and second diaphragms to form main and sub-liquid chambers that are communicating with each other via inner and outer orifices. A space between the first and second diaphragms is an equilibrium chamber. A space between the second diaphragm and second fixture is a switching chamber into which either of an atmospheric pressure and a reduced pressure is selectively introduced. The inner orifice is an opening of the partitioner. The first diaphragm has in its central portion a valve body that has a projection always inserted in the inner orifice all the time the orifice is opened or occluded.

  • Publication number: 20010010413
Abstract: A switchable liquid-filled vibration absorbing mount which is caused to cope with the shaking vibrations and the idle vibrations by opening/closing orifices and which is enabled to hold the stable characteristics for a long time without being troubled by the slackness of the closed state even after the opening/closing actions are repeated. For this vibration absorbing mount, a first mounting fixture (1) and a second mounting fixture (2) are jointed by a vibration absorbing base (3). In this internal space, there are arranged a partition member (4), a first diaphragm (5) and a second diaphragm (6). A main liquid chamber (7) and an auxiliary liquid chamber (8) are caused to communicate by two inner and outer orifices (14) and (13). A balance chamber (9) is defined between the first and second two diaphragms (5) and (6), and a switching chamber (10), into which the atmospheric pressure and a vacuum can be introduced, is defined between the second diaphragm (6) and the second mounting fixture (2).
