  • Patent number: 10346336
Abstract: The disclosed invention is to provide a semiconductor device enabling it to access an internal device within a USB cable in a simple way. Disclosed is a semiconductor device which is able to be coupled to at least one USB cable and which includes a decision unit that decides whether or not an opposite-end device is detected through the USB cable; and a control unit that, if the decision unit has judged that the opposite-end device is not detected through the USB cable, supplies one of two signal lines which are coupled to an internal device within the USB cable with a power supply voltage and implements control of communication with the internal device within the USB cable through the other one of the signal lines.

  • Patent number: 8135871
Abstract: A computer system includes an information processing apparatus configured to incorporate a SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) command into a CBW (Command Block Wrapper), and transmits the CBW based on USB (Universal Serial Bus) protocol; and a peripheral apparatus configured to receive the CBW transmitted from the information processing apparatus, and transmit a value of a predetermined register indicating a state of a GPIO (general purpose input/output) interface to the information processing apparatus, when the SCSI command is a predetermined SCSI command. The information processing apparatus may issue the SCSI command based on an application program. The peripheral apparatus carries out a process corresponding to the SCSI command when the SCSI command is not the predetermined SCSI command.

  • Publication number: 20100205334
Abstract: A device wire adapter performs a data transfer between a host which has been wirelessly connected to an upstream side and a wired device which has been wired-connected to a downstream side. The device wire adapter includes a control unit which controls the data transfer between the host and the wired device, and an end point on which a configuration information related to the data transfer can be changed. The data transfer between the host and the wired device is performed via the end point on which the configuration information has been changed based on configuration information on an end point included in the wired device.

  • Publication number: 20090323723
Abstract: A WUSB host (or a WUSB device) transmits a combined information packet and a combined packet to the WUSB device (or the WUSB host). The combined information packet is specified with each packet length of a plurality of packets having a packet length other than a predetermined transfer unit or different packet length. The combined packet is the plurality of packets combined. At this time, the WUSB host transmits the combined information packet to a control endpoint included in the wireless USB device and transmits the combined packet to a bulk OUT endpoint. The WUSB device (or the WUSB host) divides the combined packet into the plurality of packets based on the combined information packet.

  • Publication number: 20070288680
Abstract: In a device connected wirelessly with a host, a host identification information holding unit holds identification information of the host. A connection control unit of the device searches for an identification signal including the host identification information transmitted from the host, where the search is for connecting with the host at a predetermined time interval until the search is succeeded. The host may be a wireless USB (WUSB: Wireless Universal Serial Bus) host. In such case, the connection control unit performs a search for a MMC (Micro-scheduled Management Command) from the wireless USB host.

  • Publication number: 20070086554
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a data synchronizer for outputting data with a readout clock frequency sync with input data or receiving data with a read-in clock frequency sync with output data, includes: a frequency synchronizer controlling a frequency of the readout clock or a frequency of the read-in clock based on an input data amount or output data amount per unit time, the frequency synchronizer controlling the frequency of the readout clock or the frequency of the read-in clock based on a first frequency set value that is preset, before the input data is input or the output data is output.
