When a user (delivery recipient 3) purchases a product from a vendor and applies for delivery, a management server 4 accepts a delivery application from a vendor client 1. The management server 4 notifies the delivery recipient client 3 of the application for delivery, and prompts the user to designate delivery terms. For example, a delivery terms designation form is provided on a web page, and the URL for that web page is provided in the application for delivery notification. The delivery recipient client 3 accesses the web page and refers to a list of products to be delivered to him or herself. Moreover, the delivery recipient designates delivery terms when he or she is certain of his or her schedule. A delivery business is notified of these delivery terms.

Abstract: A prospective customer searching part searches a customer database on the Internet based on information regarding a target article, a shop searching part searches a shop database, and a prospective customer list generating part generates a prospective customer list for each shop. A prospective customer list presenting part presents the list, and a shop determines whether or not advertisement is to be distributed to each prospective customer by using an advertisement distribution selecting part. An advertisement distribution preliminary list generating part excludes customers selected not to receive advertisement to generate an advertisement distribution preliminary list. A name-embedded advertisement generating part generates advertisement using advertisement data in accordance with the advertisement distribution preliminary list, and a name-embedded advertisement distributing part distributes the name-embedded advertisement to customers.

In a second aspect of the apparatus, a management right of an article is transferred to another know-how management apparatus. The article is distributively managed by a plurality of know-how management apparatuses. Also in this second aspect, management information, which includes the article whose management right is transferred and information relevant to the article, is transmitted to the know-how management apparatus of the transfer destination.

Abstract: A user information management device exploits the contents of all communications as information about an individual user, to allow the system to access and update information about the user without modifying the overall system. The system includes a task execution device and a user interface device which interact to perform a task as directed by a user by message communication through a shared medium. The system includes a user information management device and a reference table which includes message patterns for accessing and updating the information about the user and for launching access and update procedures corresponding to a matched pattern.

Abstract: An information processor, which manages operational history data or status data to revert an application back to any desired point in the past or make use of the past operations, includes an interface screen having cards thereon, as objects, that are manipulated by a user so as to make use of history. Contents of the history are represented while the order of the cards, placed one upon another, is associated with the time series of the history. A card representation is provided on the screen presented by the application to the user at any point in a past or to provide a card representation defined by images which alternately display screen representations before and after a change in the application screen by the operation performed by the user at any point in the past, while the before-change and after-change representations are displayed for different periods of time.

Abstract: With the purpose of automatically and efficiently finding and selecting a collection of software functions truly useful for a user from a collection of software functions and of adequately and easily judging whether the software function selected by the user should be adopted or not, the computer system according to the present invention comprises task description holding means for holding a collection of task descriptions formally describing individual utilization patterns of various types of software functions, and filtering means for finding and selecting a task description describing a utilization pattern, not tried by the user in the past and regarded as useful for the user, from a collection of task descriptions held by said task description holding means and for disclosing it to the user. By adding the task description selected by the filtering means to a task model, said task model can be changed during task execution.
