  • Patent number: 4575210
Abstract: An automatic focusing device comprises a motor operated by a range signal, a lens moving system in which a lens is moved by the motor, a clutch for engaging and disengaging the motor from the lens moving system and a power switch for the motor. A switchover member is provided which is selectively settable to a manual mode, and auto-focus mode and a focus-lock mode. The modes are changed over by a combination of an engagement or disengagement of the clutch by the switchover member and a switchover of the power switch (between ON and OFF) by the switchover member.

  • Patent number: 4283131
Abstract: A manual focus setting apparatus for a camera having an automatic focus adjusting or focusing apparatus including an actuator which moves simultaneously or in synchronism with movement of a focusing lens along its optical axis and is stopped in response to a signal from an electromagnet. A focus setting member is manually movable from a position clear of the path of a stopper projection on the actuator to a position where it can engage the stopper projection to limit movement of the actuator. Switch means is provided which is operable in response to movement of the focus setting member to the stopper projection engaging position to inhibit operation of the electromagnet.

  • Patent number: 4217043
Abstract: An automatic focus control apparatus for a camera lens which includes a fixed and a movable optical system, each adapted to form an image of an object to be photographed on a respective photosensitive means. The movable optical system includes a rotatable mirror movable successively in opposite directions, in the first direction at a high rate of speed, and in the second direction at a low rate of speed simultaneously with lens adjustment. Signal processing means compares the signals provided by the photosensitive means and stops the lens and operates a camera shutter during movement of the mirror in the second direction when a maximum or minimum output signal compares with a selected maximum or minimum output signal generated during movement of the mirror in the first direction.
