Abstract: A heat developable light-sensitive material containing a compound represented by general formula (I) described below in a light-sensitive layer or an image receiving layer thereof: ##STR1## wherein X represents an atomic group necessary to complete a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; R represents a group convertible to a hydroxy group or a dissociation form thereof at the time of heat development; Y represents an atomic group necessary to complete a 5-membered or 6-membered heterocyclic group containing at least one nitrogen atom; Q represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aryl group, or a substituted aryl group; TIME represents a timing group; and n represents 0 or a positive integer.
