  • Publication number: 20030194469
Abstract: A physiologically active substance of aglycon type, in particular, aglycon isoflavone, can be efficiently produced, without resort to any acid/alkali treatment or fermentation and substantially without changing the physical properties of a material, by treating the material with a sufficient amount of diglycosidase for a sufficient period of time at an appropriate temperature and pH so that a physiologically active substance of glycoside type contained in the material can be converted into the physiologically active substance of aglycon type. Moreover, by using diglycosidase and/or a specific enzyme preparation, the aglycon content in a protein or protein-containing food can be increased and the flavor thereof can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6144261
Abstract: PLL (Phase Locked Loop) circuits have difficulty achieving both short pull-in time and stable hold-over time simultaneously. The PLL circuit of the present invention includes a first integrator and a second integrator. To reduce a pull-in time, feedback loop including the first integrator is provided with a sufficiently great loop gain. For stable holdover, a feedback loop including the second integrator is provided with a loop gain small enough to obviate the influence of the momentary variation of an input signal frequency.

  • Patent number: 5854983
Abstract: A controller of a base station supervises radio communication between the base station and a plurality of personal stations of which a respective one has preset functions of which a description data is stored in a registering section of the base station so that, when an arbitrary personal station is operated into an off-hook state in response to a call it has received from a call sending station, the controller reads the description data of the functions of the personal station in the off-hook state and sends the read data to the call sending station, where it is processed to display a description of the functions before sending back a message of a complete display to the base station, where the controller responds thereto for connecting the personal station in the off-hook state for a talk with the call sending station.

  • Patent number: 5757768
Abstract: Idle frames are transmitted from first and second nodes of ring network in response to a first link failure, and protection switching is performed to form a first loop between the first and second nodes via at least a third node on receiving idle frames and Bridged & Switched frames are transmitted to the first loop. At the third node, AU (administrative unit) squelching is performed in response to a second link failure in the first loop, and protection switching is performed at the third node to form a second loop between the second and third nodes, and VT squelch is performed at the third node and busy indication frames are sent from the third node to the second node until the VT (virtual tributary) squelch is completed. From the third node to the second node, Bridged & Switched frames are transmitted and the AU squelch is cleared upon completion of the VT squelch.

  • Patent number: 5745851
Abstract: A cordless station is operable in a local mode when it is in a local area and in a global mode when it is outside of the local area. The cordless station is assigned a telephone number of a cellular mobile telephone network (CMTN) for establishing a connection therewith when it is operating in the global mode. A memory is provided for storing the cellular telephone number. A controller is connected to a public switched telephone network (PSTN) to receive an incoming call and forwards it to the cordless station when the latter is operating in the local mode, and operates a telephone answering unit to record a message of the call if the cordless station is operating in the global mode. When a message is recorded, the controller originates a call to the PSTN using the telephone number stored in the memory to establish a connection through the PSTN and CMTN networks to the cordless station operating in the global mode.
