  • Patent number: 11508513
Abstract: A coil-embedded ceramic substrate includes a plurality of ceramic layers including multi-turn coil patterns provided thereon. At least one ceramic layer of the plurality of ceramic layers includes thereon a multi-turn coil pattern and dummy patterns not electrically connected to the multi-turn coil pattern. The multi-turn coil pattern winds around and extends parallel or substantially parallel to sides of the ceramic layer. The dummy patterns are each parallel or substantially parallel to corresponding ones of the sides of the ceramic layer as an extension of portion of the coil pattern in an extending direction.

  • Publication number: 20180211765
Abstract: A surface-mount thin inductor includes a rectangular or substantially rectangular thin sheet body, loop conductor patterns each with a winding axis in a direction in which base layers in the body are stacked, and four surface electrodes that are on a first main surface of the body. A center of each of the four surface electrodes is located in a region in which the loop conductor patterns are located when viewed in a stacking direction. The four surface electrodes are disposed separately at four corners of the first main surface of the body.

  • Publication number: 20170025220
Abstract: A multilayer body includes a plurality of magnetic body sheets laminated in a lamination direction. Coil conductors are embedded in the multilayer body to define a coil with a winding axis extending in the lamination direction. The coil conductors define a circle when viewed in the lamination direction. An air gap is provided in a region surrounded by an inner circumferential edge of the circle defined by the coil conductors when viewed in the lamination direction. The coil conductors sandwich the air gap therebetween in the lamination direction and are surrounded by the magnetic body without being exposed to the air gap.
