  • Publication number: 20180364522
Abstract: A method of producing a liquid crystal panel 11 includes a first separating process, a second separating process, a cleaning process, a polarizing plate component preparing process, and a polarizing plate bonding process. The first separating process is for preparing a liquid crystal panel body component 11BM including liquid crystal panel bodies 11B coupled to one another. The second separating process is for separating the liquid crystal panel body component 11BM into the liquid crystal panel bodies 11B. The cleaning process is for cleaning the liquid crystal panel bodies 11B. The polarizing plate component preparing process is for preparing a polarizing plate component 19 including polarizing plates 18 coupled to one another. The polarizing plate bonding process is for collectively bonding the polarizing plates 18 includes in the polarizing plate component 19 to the liquid crystal bodies 11B.

  • Publication number: 20180283952
Abstract: A polarizing axis detection device includes: an irradiation head 12 that emits sensor light; a stage 11 on which a polarizing plate is mounted and rotated; a light receiving head 13 that receives sensor light through the polarizing plate, and outputs a signal according to the amount of light received; and an arithmetic circuit 15 that detects orientation of a polarizing axis of the polarizing plate based on the output signal, wherein reference data based on an output signal from the light receiving head 13 when a polarizing plate is arranged such that a polarizing axis thereof is directed in a desired direction are stored preliminarily in a storage part, and sensor light is projected to a polarizing plate on the rotating stage, and the arithmetic circuit 15 detects orientation of a polarizing axis of the polarizing plate, based on a signal output from the light receiving part and the reference data.

  • Patent number: 9389447
Abstract: This panel composite body 1 according to the present invention is provided with: a main panel 11 that has a large first substrate 111 and a small second substrate 112, the edge portion 111a of the large substrate 111 protruding further outwards than the edge portion 112a of the small substrate 112, and that has a polarizing plate 115 arranged on the outer surface 112c side of the second substrate so as to fit on the plate surface of the second substrate 112; a plate member 12 that, protruding further outwards than the edge portion 112a of the second substrate 112, sandwiches the polarizing plate 115 together with the second substrate 112; and an adhesive layer 21 that, bonding the main panel 11 and the plate member 12, is disposed between the polarizing plate 115 and the plate member 12 and, so as to cover the edge portion of the polarizing plate 115, between the second substrate 112 and the plate member 12.
