  • Publication number: 20120236024
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for forming a display image and a display control device for displaying an image in which the position of a target is significantly easier to find. In a display control device (100), a clipped region setting unit (140) sets a clipped region candidate including both a target and a characterized area which characterizes a position in a region to be imaged as the clipped region. When a characterized area is not included in the clipped region candidate, a clipped region candidate modification unit (130) modifies either the size or the position of the clipped region candidate until said clipped region candidate includes both the target and the characterized area.

  • Patent number: 8243136
Abstract: A position identifying system (1) is comprised of a radio terminal device (2) carried by a monitoring target and a sensor device (3) provided with a radio communication unit (9) for communicating by radio with the radio terminal device (2) and a camera unit (10) for taking an image of the monitoring target. In the sensor device (3), the position (tag position) of the radio terminal device (2) is detected on the basis of a detection signal from the radio terminal device (2), and the position (image position) of the monitoring target is calculated on the basis of the image taken by the camera unit (3). By linking the tag position with the image position, the position of the monitoring target is identified. Thus, there is provided the position identifying system capable of identifying the position of the monitoring target and keeping track of the movement of the monitoring target even if the image of the monitoring target cannot be taken.

  • Publication number: 20120155769
Abstract: An image processing device comprises a region dividing unit which divides a captured image obtained by a camera unit into a plurality of regions, and an image compressing unit which compresses each of region images obtained by the division by the region dividing unit while changing the compression rate according to the distance from a predetermined point in the captured image to each of the region images and the distance from the camera unit to a target included in each of the regions. For example, the image compressing unit compresses the region image having a larger angle from the optical axis at a larger compression rate, thereby achieving compression in which the amount of data in low-quality regions is greatly reduced and the quality of high-quality regions is maintained.

  • Publication number: 20120045149
Abstract: An omnidirectional image processing apparatus is provided that enables the visibility of a specified monitoring object in an omnidirectional image to be improved while maintaining the continuity of that omnidirectional image. An omnidirectional image processing apparatus (400) is an apparatus that performs image processing on an omnidirectional image, and has a monitoring object specification section (405) that specifies a monitoring object photographed in the omnidirectional image, an image rotating section (406) that rotates the omnidirectional image so that the position of a specified monitoring object becomes upper-central, and a center position moving section (407) that moves the center position of the omnidirectional image rotated by the image rotating section (406) downward by means of warping processing.

  • Publication number: 20110316700
Abstract: A reliability extracting section (102) extracts the reliability of positioning at a person's position calculating section (101) on the basis of an image captured from an imaging section (121). A section (104) for creating a possibly-existing area determines a possibly-existing area (AR1) on the basis of the result of positioning obtained by the person's position calculating section (101) and reliability (precision of positioning) obtained by the reliability extracting section (102). An entry determining section (105) determines entering and/or leaving to/from a targeted monitored area (AR0) on the basis of the overlapping of the possibly-existing area (AR1) with the monitored area (AR0).

  • Publication number: 20110216940
Abstract: Disclosed is a target detection device which can match a moving object in a captured image to an identifier when a plurality of identifiers began to be received in a short time, or when the number of identifiers received was larger than the number of detected position histories. The device (100) comprises: a feature information extraction unit (103) which extracts the feature information of at least one moving object imaged in a captured image, a read unit (104) which reads the identifier of the wireless terminal held by the moving object, a history controller (105) which links and saves the feature information and the identifier at each time, and a matching unit (106) which matches the feature information and an identifier stored in the history controller (105) based on the degree of similarity with the feature information stored in the history controller (105) and the links between the feature information and the identifier.

  • Publication number: 20110199461
Abstract: A motion locus creation system which is capable of displaying the trajectory of movement of an object to be tracked in an understandable way even if using no 3D model information. A camera unit forms a detection flag indicating whether or not the object to be tracked has been able to be detected from a captured image. A motion locus-type selection section determines the display type of a motion locus according to the detection flag. A motion locus creation section produces a motion locus according to coordinate data acquired by a tag reader section and a motion locus-type instruction signal selected by the motion locus-type selection section.

  • Patent number: 7801182
Abstract: Information relating to a playback of divided static media data included in static media transmission data is stored in static media transmission data previous than the static media transmission data, and transmitted, thereby making it possible to determine whether there is no divided static media data originally or lost when the divided static media data is not received. Accordingly, in the case where static media such as timed text and the like is used in distribution of streaming type, when receiving no static media data, a data receiving apparatus determines whether there is no media data to be next displayed or media data is lost in the course of transmission to notify a user of loss of media data correctly. Moreover, it is possible to reduce time required for packet loss detection to execute a retransmission request without increasing pre-buffering.

  • Publication number: 20050125658
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to reuse the available part of data in cases where data is determined not to be authentic. The input section inputs the data, and the processing section generates the processed data. According to the generation of the processed data, the authentication data generation section generates the authentication data for authenticating the processed data and the output section outputs the data with authentication wherein the processed data is correlated with the authentication data. By including the data inputted into the processed data, even if the processed data cannot be authenticated, a process can be performed by using the data as long as the authenticity of the data can be guaranteed. Moreover, it becomes possible to specify a flexible process by including the status return information in the processed data required for the process in the case where the authenticity cannot be affirmed.
