  • Publication number: 20240011799
Abstract: In a magnetic sensor according to the present disclosure, each of a plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions includes a first resistance portion and a second resistance portion that are connected together in series. One of two resistance portions connects a first wiring portion and a second wiring portion of a first wiring pattern portion. The other of the two resistance portions connects a first wiring portion and a second wiring portion of a second wiring pattern portion. The two resistance portions are included in the plurality of first resistance portions and the plurality of second resistance portions and located at both ends in a first direction.

  • Publication number: 20240003990
Abstract: A magnetic sensor according to the present disclosure includes a supporting substrate, a glazing layer, and a magnetoresistive layer. The glazing layer is formed on the supporting substrate. The magnetoresistive layer is formed on the glazing layer. When viewed in plan in a thickness direction defined for the supporting substrate, an outer edge of the magnetoresistive layer is located inside an outer edge of the supporting substrate.

  • Publication number: 20240003711
Abstract: A magnetic sensor according to the present disclosure includes a plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions that forms a bridge circuit. Each of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions includes a first resistance portion and a second resistance portion that are connected together in series. In each of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions, the first resistance portion and the second resistance portion are spaced from each other in a first direction by a distance that is one half as long as a cycle of magnetization of a detection target. In each of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions, the first resistance portion and the second resistance portion are symmetric to each other with respect to a line when viewed in plan in a third direction.

  • Publication number: 20230413686
Abstract: A magnetic sensor according to the present disclosure includes a plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions that forms a bridge circuit. The plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions are arranged side by side in a first direction. Each of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions is formed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Each of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions is formed in a meandering shape when viewed in a third direction perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction. Centroids of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions are located on a centerline of the plurality of magnetoresistance pattern portions in the second direction when viewed in the third direction.

  • Patent number: 7400143
Abstract: A magnetic bias film 9 includes a magnetic bias magnet 11 that has magnetic layers and generates a magnetic field within a plane perpendicular to a lamination direction of the magnetic layers, which is manufactured in the shape of substantially a rectangular prism having a long side, a short side, and a thickness (in the lamination direction) in order of decreasing lengths. A ratio of the long side with respect to the short side of the magnetic bias magnet 11 in length is in a range of 5 to 200.
