The present invention provides an electronic apparatus that can be connected to a network, including, a communication unit communicating with another electronic apparatus existing on the network, a temporary-address setting unit setting a temporary address that is temporarily valid on the network, an address-requesting unit requesting that an address management apparatus connected to the network should set an address at a predetermined timing, when the temporary address is set, and an address-request stopping unit inhibiting the address-requesting unit from operating, while the communication unit is communicating with the other electronic apparatus, by using the temporary address.
