  • Publication number: 20060064325
Abstract: So that health management advice is effective, the present invention effectively processes data that was obtained using a measuring device, and presents useful information for health management. For this purpose, a measuring device 10 measures movement of a subject using an acceleration sensor 104, stores activity data in a storage part 114, stores identification information specifying the subject in an identification information storage part 118, and transmits the stored activity data and the identification information to a data processing device 20. A medical examination result database 30 is connected with the data processing device 20, and medical examination result data history is correlated with the identification information of the subject and is stored.

  • Patent number: 4083177
Abstract: A liquid crystal display wrist watch is disclosed which comprises a supporting frame secured to a wrist watch substrate. The frame has two perpendicularly crossing supporting surfaces which cooperate with two corresponding reference sides of a liquid crystal cell to determine the position of exterior electrodes of the liquid crystal cell and segment electrodes of an electronic circuit. A holding frame plate is used for detachably urging the liquid crystal against the suppporting frame. A boundary plate and color filter are each sandwiched between a movement and a protective glass cover. A portion is provided for determining the position of the holding frame plate, with respect to either to the movement or an outer case.

  • Patent number: 4020627
Abstract: A liquid crystal display electronic watch comprises a metal substrate, whose upside and downside surfaces are insulated by a flexible print sheet. A liquid crystal cell and a time keeping decoder drive circuit are arranged on the upside of the substrate and other circuit elements are arranged beneath the downside thereof. The exteriorly operating parts are arranged around the periphery of the substrate. All of the electrical and mechanical operating members are arranged in a plane with respect to the substrate and so electrically connected and mechanically interlocked that date and/or week day are displayed with the least possible members. The watch is thin, small, simple in construction and reliable in operation.

  • Patent number: 3979899
Abstract: A digital display type electronic time keeper is disclosed which has a time standard signal generating source having a crystal oscillating circuit. Means are provided for frequency-dividing the time standard signal, for counting the signal fed from the means for frequency-dividing the time standard signal which is driven by at least one power source, and for decoding the counted data. A display device having a positive dielectric anisotropy twisted effect type nematic liquid crystal is driven by the decoded signal. A booster using two phase signals taken from a part of the frequency dividing means provides a power source for driving the counting means, the decoding means and the display device. A level adjuster matches the output of the frequency-dividing means and the input of the counting means and is disposed therebetween. Additional means are provided for correcting the display data of the display device.

  • Patent number: 3973388
Abstract: A liquid crystal, electrochromic or other electro-optical material is sandwiched between two glass substrates. An electric field is applied to the electro-optical material to display time and other information on a watch. The lower glass substrate is thinner than the upper substrate so as to create clear displays and to enable the manufacture of a thin watch which is also light weight and shock resistant.
