Abstract: A circuit board includes a substrate including electrode patterns formed thereon, first chip components mounted on the substrate and a second chip component mounted on a side of electrodes of the first chip components opposite from the substrate. The second chip component is bonded at one electrode to an electrode of the first chip component and is also bonded at the other electrode to an electrode of the first chip component. By stacking chip components in plural stages, it is possible to mount chip components with a high density on the substrate, thereby enabling reduction of the size of the circuit board.

Abstract: A pair of links hangingly support a bearing plate that secures a winding shaft of a shutter curtain. The links are arranged so that the dimension of the space accommodating the links can be minimized. A first link pivots at one end to an end of the bearing plate, adjacent to a shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a side wall of the shutter case so as to project upward away from the shutter guide. A second link pivots at one end to the other end of the bearing plate, away from the shutter guide, and swings at the base end to a portion of the side wall of the shutter case so that the second link extends under the winding shaft toward the shutter guide to bypass the winding shaft. Thus, both the first and second links can be accommodated within the diameter of the winding wheel.

Abstract: A shutter curtain for an opening such as a window or door of a building comprising: slats each of which is made of materials having different rigidity values, wherein the shutter curtain is formed by arranging the slats in series. Furthermore, the shutter curtain for a building opening comprising: main slats made of a rigid material; and sub-slats made of a material having elasticity, wherein two end portions of the main and sub-slats are connected in series so that the shutter curtain is constituted.

Abstract: This invention relates to a panel shutter mechanism for covering and uncovering the opening of a building, wherein in one position the panels constituting the shutter are arranged in the same plane so as to cover the opening when each of the panels is supported by guide rails uprightly placed on both edges of the opening, and the panels locked in place by a locking mechanism, and in the other position the panels are rolled up so as to leave the opening uncovered, wherein each of the panels is housed side-by-side in a housing located above the upper ends of the guide rails.
