  • Patent number: 9879879
Abstract: The cogeneration system includes: a cogeneration apparatus which generates electric power using supplied fuel gas and supplies the electric power and heat; a heat accumulator which accumulates the heat supplied by the cogeneration apparatus; a controller which controls at least start and stop of the cogeneration apparatus; and a display unit that displays a remaining power generation duration which is a length of time for which the cogeneration apparatus can continue power generation. The controller further calculates the remaining power generation duration based on a remaining heat accumulation capacity which is a difference between (a) a maximum accumulable heat amount which is the amount of heat the heat accumulator is capable of accumulating and (b) a current accumulated heat amount that is the amount of heat currently accumulated in the heat accumulator, and causes the display unit to display the calculated remaining power generation duration.

  • Patent number: 9520603
Abstract: A fuel cell system (100) includes: a fuel cell (60); a fuel processor (41) including a reformer (43) and a CO reducer (44, 45); a combustor (42); a first air supply device (46); an electric heater (50); a power supply device (200); a power outage detector (11); and a controller (10). The controller is configured such that, in a power outage state where the power outage detector has detected the power outage before the fuel cell generates electric power, the controller performs at least one of: increasing a supply amount of the combustion air to be greater than in a power supplied state where the power outage detector does not detect the power outage; and decreasing a supply amount of the combustible gas to be less than in the power supplied state, and decreases an amount of heating by the electric heater.

  • Publication number: 20120033945
Abstract: A playback apparatus for playing back video data includes a read section and a control section, a first content includes first information and the first video data, a second content includes second information and second video data recorded in a different format from a format of the first video data, the first information is a part of management information for third video data recorded in a different format from the format of the first video data, the second information is a part of management information for the second video data, the read section reads out the first information and the second information from the first content and the second content, respectively, and outputs the first information and the second information to the control section, and when the first information and the second information match, the control section plays back the first video data.

  • Publication number: 20100209079
Abstract: In a DVD+VR recording method, when a VCPS (Video Content Protection System) title (204) recorded under protection of its copyright is recorded in a VCPS-incapable apparatus, a dummy title (203) having a protection attribute is provided immediately before the VCPS title, and information about the dummy title is included in title management information for VCPS-incapable apparatuses and information about the VCPS title is not included in the title management information for VCPS-incapable apparatuses. As a result, even when a user tries to perform overwriting from a deleted title immediately before a VCPS title in a VCPS-incapable apparatus, the recording is stopped as the dummy title has the protection attribute, whereby the VCPS title is prevented from being deleted.

  • Publication number: 20070253680
Abstract: The entire caption is displayed within a display frame area through reducing the font size of the caption character string, scrolling the caption character string, or dividing the caption by a paragraph unit to be displayed separating more than once. When the entire character string cannot be displayed in a display frame area, the character string is divided by a word unit and through adding a continuation mark at the end of the caption, it is possible to inform the user that there is a continued part in the caption.

  • Publication number: 20060222338
Abstract: A decision section decides whether or not contents recorded on a HDD satisfy a predetermined condition based on contents management information indicating an attribute of the contents and an operation exerted on the contents. If contents satisfying the condition have not been compressed by a contents compress processing section, the contents are compressed by the contents compress processing section. If having been compressed, the contents are deleted by a contents delete processing section.
