    Abstract: The present invention provides a branching unit, the height of which can be reduced, and a vehicular system. The branching unit includes a switch equipped with a fixed electrode and a movable electrode; a first bushing conductor which is connected either to the fixed electrode or to the movable electrode; and a second bushing conductor which is connected to the other of the fixed electrode and the movable electrode. A first T-shaped cable head is connected at one end to the first bushing conductor, a second T-shaped cable head is connected to a different end part of the first T-shaped cable head from the one end, a third T-shaped cable head is connected at one end to the second bushing conductor, the first T-shaped cable head and the second T-shaped cable head are respectively connected to different circuits, and surfaces of the respective T-shaped cable heads and the switch are at a ground potential.

    Abstract: An object is to provide a switching unit or switching gear which enhances heat radiation performance and eliminates the need for an increase in unit size. In order to solve this problem the switching unit includes a switch and insulating resin located in a way to cover the periphery of the switch, in which the switch includes a fixed electrode, a movable electrode facing the fixed electrode and moving in an axial direction to contact or leave the fixed electrode, a bus side conductor connected to one of the electrodes and connected to a bus, and a load side conductor connected to the other electrode and connected to the load. The insulating resin has fins formed in a circumferential direction on the outer surface of the insulating resin and the distance between the periphery of the switch and the bottoms of the fins is almost constant in the circumferential direction.

The capacitor 16 and the auxiliary contact 34 are located at heights not exceeding the height of the fixing part for fixing the electromagnet 14.

    Abstract: An actuator for a contactor comprises an electromagnet having a closing coil, a holding coil, fixed cores wound with the closing coil and the holding coil respectively, a movable core provided on one side of the fixed cores, and a yoke. A main contact movable member operates to perform closing or interrupting by attraction or release of the movable core with respect to the fixed core. The actuator has a trip spring, energy-stored during the closing, that performs the interrupting upon stopping energization to the holding coil and thereby releasing the stored-energy. The actuator has an auxiliary contact operating with the operation of the movable core and performing energization switching with respect to the closing coil and the holding coil. The trip spring is provided on one side of the electromagnet in a horizontal direction while the auxiliary contact is provided on the other side.
