  • Patent number: 11777355
Abstract: A stator to be provided in an electric rotating machine includes a stator core and a distributed winding coil. The stator core has a plurality of slots. The distributed winding coil includes a plurality of segment coils coupled to each other. Each of the segment coils is accommodated across a pair of slots out of the plurality of slots. The distributed winding coil has a coil structure including a plurality of parallel coils coupled to each other in series. Each of the parallel coils includes two or more of the segment coils. The two or more segment coils are coupled to each other in parallel and are accommodated across the same pair of slots out of the plurality of slots. The two or more segment coils included in each of the parallel coils are disposed adjacent to each other in a radial direction in the same pair of slots.

  • Patent number: 11646612
Abstract: A stator for a rotary electric machine includes a stator core with slots and a stator winding. The stator winding includes a phase winding including segment conductors inserted in the slots. The phase winding includes parallel conductors connected in series. Each of the parallel conductors includes segment conductors connected in parallel. When one parallel conductor is regarded as a reference parallel conductor, and the segment conductors constituting the reference parallel conductor are regarded as reference segment conductors, each reference segment conductor includes a first conductor portion constituting a first conductor portion group, and a second conductor portion constituting a second conductor portion group.

  • Patent number: 11554676
Abstract: A motor device for a vehicle includes a stator, a rotor, a bearing, an inverter, and a controller. The stator is attached into a housing and includes a concentrated winding coil. The rotor includes a permanent magnet. The bearing supports a rotating shaft of the rotor. The inverter controls an energization state of the concentrated winding coil. If a rotational speed of the rotor is greater than a threshold, the controller outputs a control signal to the inverter to execute field weakening control, and thereby makes a potential difference between the housing and the rotating shaft lower than a withstand voltage of the bearing. The control signal controls the energization state of the concentrated winding coil. The field weakening control generates magnetic flux of the concentrated winding coil in a direction of weakening magnetic flux of the permanent magnet.

  • Patent number: 4077199
Abstract: A small sized electric timepiece movement has a radius which is less than the diameter of the battery which powers the movement. Hence, the battery extends from one side of the movement to a point beyond the centerline of the timepiece. Advantage is taken of the fact that the battery is dome-shaped so as to accommodate a portion of the base plate which rotatably supports the cannon pinion and hour wheel of the timepiece movement which are located centrally of the timepiece. Hence, the axis of the cannon pinion and hour wheel, if projected, would intersect the battery. The invention enables the construction of an electronic timepiece which is smaller than would otherwise be possible. With a battery having a diameter of 7.9 mm and a thickness of 3.5 mm, it is possible to make a timepiece having a diameter of 14.8 mm and a thickness of about 4 mm.
