    Abstract: As a calcium indicator protein having an excellent fluorescent characteristic and calcium reactivity, there is provided DNA in which one of a nucleotide sequence derivative of a calmodulin-binding sequence (ckkap sequence) of calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase and a nucleotide sequence encoding a calcium-binding sequence (CaM sequence) of calmodulin is linked to a 5? end of a nucleotide sequence encoding a fluorescent protein, and the other nucleotide sequence is linked to a 3? end of the nucleotide sequence encoding the fluorescent protein. The calcium indicator protein encoded by this DNA, which based on the derivative of the ckkap sequence as a binding domain for the calcium-bound CaM sequence, exhibits a fluorescent characteristic and calcium reactivity superior to those of conventional calcium indicator proteins.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a tubular packing which can be easily produced, and has satisfactory durability while maintaining excellent properties of exfoliated graphite such as cushioning properties and heat-resistance. There are prepared a sheet of exfoliated graphite sheet and two wire nets equal in size and shape to the sheet. The one wire net is superposed on an obverse side of the sheet in coinciding relation thereto whereas the other wire net is held in contact with a reverse side of the sheet in offset relation thereto, and this stack is curved into a tubular shape, and this tubular stack is compressed in a direction of a thickness of the sheet, thereby forming a tubular packing. Therefore, in the resultant tubular packing, the wire nets are embedded in the sheet. The wire net interconnects the opposite end edges of the sheet in a bridging manner, so that the tubular packing is continuous over the entire circumference thereof.

The sliding sheet material includes a sheet-shaped exfoliated graphite, and at least two layers of wire net embedded in the exfoliated graphite sheet, the wire net layers being disposed substantially parallel to each other. The wire net layers are partially exposed to obverse and reverse sides of the exfoliated graphite. The satisfactory durability of the sliding sheet material is achieved by the exposed wire nets, and the sliding sheet material can be easily produced, and exhibits excellent cushioning properties and heat resistance.

On both end sides of the bush body, seal portions elastically engage with the peripheral surface of the rotary shaft, and the outer surfaces of the seal portions extend within a range of thickness of the bush body so that end surfaces of the bush body and end surfaces of the seal portions are in contact with each other. Consequently, both sides of the clearance are sealed by inside surfaces of the seal portions.

At least one elastic engagement portion between the at least two contacting portions has elasticity in the radial direction similar to the at least two contacting portions. The elastic engagement portion elastically engages with a rotary shaft which is inserted in the bush, thereby supporting the rotary shaft. Consequently, the rotary shaft rotates without vibration of the axis thereof.
