  • Patent number: 9751157
Abstract: A process for identifying existence of a welded spot on a cut-out part and retention of the cut-out part on a workpiece in a wire electrode is disclosed which makes it possible to go ahead process steps while identifying automatically the retention of the cut-out part on a workpiece, ensuring unmanned work of the wire electrode discharge processor. The process includes an inspection step to detect whether the wire electrode comes into contact with a welded spot while moving the wire electrode along the cutting path of kerf in the workpiece, after the wire electrode has come into contact with the welded spot, a step goes ahead to one of next procedures, and after the wire electrode has come into no contact with the welded spot, a step goes ahead to generate an alarm and the wire electrical discharge is ceased.

  • Patent number: 9724775
Abstract: In a method of welding a cut-out part with a workpiece at a preselected area in a thickness direction of the workpiece in a wire electrical discharge machining to retain temporarily or tentatively the part on the workpiece, a wire electrode 5 tilted in posture cuts the workpiece 6 to form a slant cutting surface 30 at a spark discharge location in a desired contour 21 in the workpiece 6. The wire electrode 5 after kept in an upright posture executes the welding process on the workpiece 6 along the slant cutting surface. A plurality of the welded spots is formed over a preselected length at preselected areas in the thickness direction of the workpiece 6. Even if the cut-out part 26 weighs more or the spark discharge is executed on the workpiece 6 overlapped one on the other, the welding spot 20 is formed in the thickness direction of the workpiece 6 adequately depending on the working situation to tentatively retain the cut-out part 26 on the workpiece 6.

  • Publication number: 20140203000

The process comprises a rough cutting step to cut out the part from the workpiece, a welding step to partially weld the part with the workpiece, and an inspection step to detect whether the wire electrode comes into contact with a welded spot while moving the wire electrode along the cutting path of kerf in the workpiece. After the wire electrode has come into contact with the welded spot whereby the retention of the part on the workpiece has been identified, a step goes ahead to one of next procedures.

  • Patent number: 8137778
Abstract: A weight for a vibration motor, the weight including: a resin part including: a semi-cylindrical portion having a shaft hole in which a rotary shaft is fitted and expanding radially from the shaft hole at a given center angle so as to be eccentrically weighted with respect to the shaft hole; and a pair of locking projections respectively disposed at both axial end areas of an outer circumferential surface of the semi-cylindrical portion so as to extend radially outwardly therefrom; and a metal part attached to the resin part so as to sit on the outer circumferential surface of the semi-cylindrical portion, the metal part including: a pair of locking recesses positioned and configured to correspond respectively to the locking projections of the resin portion, wherein an elevated portion formed between the pair of locking recesses makes contact with the pair of locking projections of the resin portion.

  • Patent number: 5537216
Abstract: A spurious signal SSP whose frequency spectrum is located at frequencies [(N+(1/2)).multidot.fh] is multiplexed with a luminance signal Y so as to keep an interleaved relation between the spurious signal SSP and the luminance signal Y and the resultant signal is transmitted. When the spurious signal SSP is detected, the recording operation is inhibited. The spurious signal SSP is multiplexed with the luminance signal Y at a level such as not to exert an influence on the picture quality when the video signal is reproduced and seen by a monitor screen.

  • Patent number: 4903159
Abstract: A new video tape cassette includes a cassette housing having an opening formed therein at a position corresponding to the position of a detecting aperture of a conventional video tape cassette. The detecting aperture is provided to prevent improper recording. The new tape cassette is intended for recording only in a new recording format, and the conventional tape cassette is intended for recording only in a conventional recording format. The opening prevents a recording when the new tape cassette is inserted by mistake into a conventional video tape recorder. A second detector for preventing improper recording and a detecting portion are provided to ensure that it is impossible to record in the wrong format, regardless of whether a new or conventional-type tape cassette is inserted into a new or conventional-type video tape recorder.

  • Patent number: 4224542
Abstract: Fixed members of the small-sized motor centrifugal governor switch and commutator segment metals are secured to a boss of a molding insulating resin mounted on a shaft of the rotor, thereby disposing the centrifugal governor switch on the same side as the commutator with respect to the rotor. With this construction, there is no need of installing the centrifugal governor switch in the space radially centrally of the stator magnet, hence there is no need of restricting the size of the centrifugal governor switch to be smaller than the inner diameter of the stator magnet. Accordingly the centrifugal governor switch can be made larger, thereby securing a better function.

  • Patent number: 4188713
Abstract: A metal tube with outwardly bent risers for terminals is filled with a body of plastic resin which hardens in place. Then the tube is cut through, chordwise, a plurality of times to provide a plurality of segments. An extended, base portion of the plastic resin body through which the risers extend radially outwardly continues to hold the cylindrical disposition of the metal segments, with gaps maintained therebetween. A shaft is fitted coaxially in the base portion of the plastic resin body and extends through a larger diameter central bore of the body, centrally of the commutator segments. The gaps communicate with the annular space between this bore and the shaft, for cleaning out of particulate debris by centrifugal force.
