  • Patent number: 8251586
Abstract: A lubricant can be evenly applied onto raceway faces or raceway grooves of a rail even when fixed to a horizontal, vertical, tilted, or ceiling surface. One or a plurality of embedding portions (26e) having a recess or a hole is formed in a member body (26) straddling the rail (R). An impregnation holding member (30) holding a lubricant is embedded in the embedding portion. The lubricating member supplies the impregnating lubricant onto the rail raceway faces while making contact with them. Even when the rail is fixed to a horizontal, vertical, tilted or a ceiling surface, the embedding portion of the member body straddling the rail has at least a part maintained in position at a level equal to or higher than the level of at least a part of one of the raceway sections (21a, 21b) of the rail located higher relative to the other raceway section.

  • Publication number: 20120051676
Abstract: In a slider of a linear motion guide unit, a carriage in the slider is cut away at undersides thereof to form concaves in which tubular members defining return passages therein are placed. This is in favor of reduced machining cost. The slider is composed of the carriage having an upper portion and side bulges, end caps secured on ends of the carriage, and tubular members installed closely outside the bulges of the carriage in the sliding direction. Sidewise underparts of the carriage is cut away to provide the concaves into which the tubular members fit with tube ends being kept in spigots which communicate with turnaround passages in the end caps.

  • Publication number: 20110110424
Abstract: A video encoder for evaluating a prediction error by using a prediction technique include: an image encoding section which encodes a prediction image; and an encoding control device which selects any one of a plurality of prediction modes in prediction used by the image encoding section. The image encoding section performs clipping of higher-order bits of the prediction error input to the encoding control device and reduction of lower-order bits thereof for each of the prediction modes to control prediction mode selection, thus reducing the prediction error bit width to a predetermined bit width. The encoding control device sets to the image encoding section the number of higher-order bits to be clipped and the number of lower-order bits to be reduced. The predetermined bit width of the prediction error after bit width reduction is matched with the bus width used for prediction error transmission by the encoding control device and the image encoding section.

  • Publication number: 20100177821
Abstract: A moving picture coding apparatus divides a picture into basic blocks and generates a prediction image of a block to be predicted in a basic block by using adjacent pixels in reference pixel blocks adjacent to the block to be predicted as reference pixels to perform predictive coding of a moving picture. When some of the reference pixels are not available, pixel values of the reference pixels that are not available are calculated based on pixels in the reference pixel blocks. The prediction image of the block to be predicted is generated by using the calculated pixel values instead of the reference pixels that are not available.

  • Publication number: 20100135381
Abstract: The present invention relates to a video transmission system that uses an encoding/decoding technique. An object of the present invention is to refrain from using a memory for storing decoded image data, avoid a decoder input buffer problem (buffer overflow or underflow) with ease, achieve cost reduction, and provide enhanced image quality. In the video transmission system with an encoding/decoding device, a reference signal for adjusting a synchronization schedule of the entire system is generated and supplied to various sections. In addition, a timing adjustment amount for adjusting the synchronization schedule for the reference signal is generated by a decoder and supplied to a camera.

  • Patent number: 4904318
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the manufacture of a diaphragm from a fabric-containing sheet (material). The fabric-containing sheet produced by an extrusion molding machine in a width which is a multiple of the diameter of diaphragms to be manufactured is continuously fed in fixed pitches to a press vulcanizing device and an punching device, to permit automation of the manufacture of diaphragms and an appreciable reduction in the number of steps. This method, thus, improves the yield of materials used, permits down sizing of the production equipment, and reduces the motive power consumption.
