  • Patent number: 10209875
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a display that displays a content, and a detector that detects contactless proximity of an object to the display and contact of the object to the display. While the content scrolls on the display at gradually decreasing speeds, when the contactless proximity of the object to the display is detected and the contact of the object to the display is not detected, a scrolling speed of the content changes from the gradually decreasing speeds to a constant speed, which is faster than being stopped. After the scrolling speed of the content has changed to the constant speed, while the contactless proximity of the object to the display is detected and the contact of the object to the display is not detected, the content scrolls on the display at the constant speed.

  • Patent number: 9891753
Abstract: An input apparatus includes: a display; and a detector that detects contactless proximity of an object to the display at first coordinates of the object along a plane of the display, and contact of the object with the display at second coordinates of the object along the plane of the display. When the contactless proximity of the object is detected, and the first coordinates of the object are located within a first distance in the plane of the display from an item, the item is temporarily selected. After the item has been selected temporarily, when the contact of the object is detected, and the second coordinates of the object are located within a second distance in the plane of the display from the item, the item is finally selected. The second distance from the item is longer than the first distance from the item.

  • Patent number: 9383907
Abstract: A scrolling apparatus includes a screen, a contact detector which detects contact of a finger to the screen, a proximity detector which detects proximity of a finger to the screen, and a scrolling controller. If a first proximity of the finger is detected when an inertial scrolling of content is started, the scrolling controller transitions from the inertial scrolling to a constant scroll speed. When the detection of the first proximity of the finger continues, the scrolling at constant scroll speed continues even after the first proximity of the finger is not detected. When the scrolling at constant speed is performed after the first proximity of the finger is not detected, if a second proximity of the finger is detected, the scrolling controller stops the scrolling at constant speed, and then if the second proximity of the finger is not detected, the scrolling controller restarts the scrolling at constant speed.

  • Patent number: 8421767
Abstract: It is made possible to cancel the effect of the already executed command without performing burdensome operation if an unobjective command is executed for input operation of the user. An input signal analysis section 200 gives a command of execution of a first command corresponding to detection of input operation to a first operation button based on an input position of a touch panel 10 detected by an input signal control section 300 and if input operation to a second operation button is detected, gives a command of a second command corresponding to detection. If continuous input operation to the second operation button is detected after the first command corresponding to the first operation button is executed, and command change notification from the input signal analysis section 200 is received, an application 100 cancels the effect of the immediately preceding executed first command and executes the second command.

  • Publication number: 20110159865
Abstract: Means is provided for, even when a user does not previously register information that can identify a counterparty, such as a telephone number or mail address, determining the priority with respect to an incoming from a counterparty of which there is an outgoing record to respond efficiently and effectively. In a portable communication terminal 1, when an outgoing to the outside is made by an outgoing unit 110, an outgoing history storage unit 210 registers its record in an outgoing communication history data 10, together with an identifier for identifying a communication counterparty 900 which functions as an outgoing destination. When receiving an incoming from the outside, an outgoing history detection unit 300 searches the outgoing communication history data 10 to confirm whether there is a record which has been transmitted from the own terminal or not.
