    Abstract: A display control device (10) comprises an image acquisition component (11), an orientation estimation component (12), and a controller (13). The image acquisition component (11) acquires an infrared image (G1) sensed by infrared array sensors (21a and 21b) installed in a room. The orientation estimation component (12) estimates the orientation of a care receiver (P1) in a room (30) on the basis of the infrared image (G1) acquired by the image acquisition component (11). The controller (13) controls a display device (22) so that a dummy image (D1), which shows a simplified view of the orientation of the care receiver (P1) estimated by the orientation estimation component (12), is displayed superimposed over the infrared image (G1).

    Abstract: A power generation device converts vibrational energy into electric power using a vibrational power generation element in which an electret is provided on one substrate of substrates configured to be relatively movable while maintaining a mutually facing state, and supplies the electric power. A vibrational power generation element has the same configuration as the vibrational power generation element and converts vibrational energy into electric power. The vibrational power generation element is connected to a light-emitting diode via a bridge-type full wave rectifier circuit constituted by diodes, a smoothing circuit constituted by a capacitor, and a light-emitting diode drive circuit. A power generation state of the power generation device using the vibrational power generation element and the like is displayed by blinking of the light-emitting diode.

    Abstract: An actuator includes: an electrostatic actuation mechanism including a stationary electrode and a movable electrode; a first movable part driven by the electrostatic actuation mechanism; a first elastic support part that elastically supports the first movable part; an electret formed in at least one of the stationary electrode and the movable electrode; and a drive control unit that controls application of voltage to the electrostatic actuation mechanism. In the actuator a plurality of stable states are set in which the first movable part is positioned at a stable position at which an electrostatic force generated by the electret matches with an elastic force exerted by the first elastic support part or at a stable position near such stable position. By applying a voltage to the electrostatic actuation mechanism, the first movable part may be displaced from any stable position to another stable position.

    Abstract: There is provided a color filter which can be manufactured by a simplified process and which will not short-circuit an electrode of a TFT substrate. The color filter includes a substrate, and a red layer, a green layer and a blue layer, formed on the substrate. When forming the green layer and the blue layer, these layers are not only formed on the substrate, but also laminated on the red layer to form a spacer comprised of the green layer and the blue layer, laminated on the red layer. The color filter further includes a transparent electrode layer which covers the substrate, the red layer, the green layer, the blue layer and the spacer, and an insulating black matrix layer formed on predetermined areas of the transparent electrode layer.
