The damping force adjustment unit includes a push rod that changes an opening area of an oil path formed in a piston rod, an electric motor functioning as a driving source, and a feed screw mechanism that converts rotation of the electric motor into linear movement of the push rod. The feed screw mechanism includes a first slider that is screwed to an output shaft of the electric motor in an advanceable/retractable manner, a second slider is fitted movably to the first slider, and a set spring that pushes the second slider against one end of the push rod.

Abstract: A thermal printhead for use in a thermal recording machine includes a substrate on which a plurality of heat-producing elements are formed in the form of a linear array and a plurality of I.C. driver chips provided along one side of the linear array, and the I.C. driver chip includes output pads formed in a line spaced apart from one another on its surface along one side thereof. Using such an I.C. driver chip, the linear array density of 8 elements/mm and thus recording density of 8 dots/mm is obtained.

Abstract: A scaling device for weighing load applied on an elevator car floor to prevent overloading operated by detecting the amount of deformation of rubber insulators mounted under the car floor.Load detecting beams are provided under the car floor to detect the deformation of the rubber insulators, and each end of the load detecting beams is loosely jointed to an opposite side of the car floor.When the rubber insulators deform by the load applied on the floor, the load detecting means subside in conformity to the deformation of the rubber insulators and a load detecting switch mounted below the car floor is switched on by the subsidence of the load detecting beams as the load exceeds the rated load, thereby to stop the operation of the car.
