  • Publication number: 20230394676
Abstract: A video analyzing device is configured to acquire information related to a motion of a target object based on a video showing the motion. The video analyzing device includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to perform a video displaying process of displaying the video on a display screen of a display device; a region specifying process of specifying a part of a range shown in the video as a determination region; and an information acquiring process of acquiring the information based on a change in the specified determination region. The region specifying process includes specifying the part as the determination region based on an operation by a user for selecting a range surrounding the target object from a still image. The still image is part of the video and includes the target object.

  • Publication number: 20220083019
Abstract: A work receiving apparatus according to the present invention comprises a stage which includes an upper surface serving as a placement surface on which a work having a predetermined shape can be placed, and a projection part which is provided above the placement surface and projects a guide image on the placement surface to guide a placement position of the work on the placement surface. The guide image includes an image corresponding to a shape and an appropriate posture of the work on the placement surface. It is possible to eliminate the need to prepare a dedicated jig for each work and further the need to change the jig. An operator can load the work at appropriate position and posture easily with good reproducibility.

  • Patent number: 11037415
Abstract: A tactile presentation device is provided with: a glove worn on the hand of a user; polymer actuators attached to a base fabric of the glove; a control device which controls the polymer actuators; and an array of haptic stimulators driven by the polymer actuators. The tactile presentation device drives the haptic stimulators using the polymer actuators through the application of a voltage to the polymer actuators by means of the control device, and performs tactile presentation to the skin of the hand of the user by driving the haptic stimulators. The polymer actuators are capable of causing the haptic stimulators to be displaced by at least 100 ?m when the frequency of the applied voltage is 1 to 30 Hz and more preferably 1 to 100 Hz.

  • Publication number: 20190139454
Abstract: An operation training apparatus is used in training for operations on living tissue that expands and contracts. The apparatus includes a model body, which mimics the living tissue, a driving device, which moves the model body in a manner mimicking the expansion-contraction, and a controller, which controls a manner in which the driving device is driven. The driving device includes an electroactive polymer actuator.

  • Patent number: 4882746
Abstract: A cordless telephone system has a master unit connected to a telephone line and having a radio transceiver and a plurality of sub-units having radio transceivers and transmittable to and receivable from the telephone line through the master unit. Speech from the telephone line can be transferred between any sub-units, and speech by press-to-talk system is enabled between any sub-units through the master unit. A multi-purpose controller is provided in the master unit to enable control of an equipment by dialing from a sub-unit. For example, a tape recorder is operated, an automatic response/record function is operated, an interphone function is operated, a call from the telephone line can be directed to any sub-unit by a signal from the sub-unit, and all sub-units can be simultaneously or sequentially called from the telephone line.

  • Patent number: 4400782
Abstract: In a monitoring system for protecting a metal pipe against corrosion, transmission of monitoring signals is carried out by the use of the pipe itself as a transmission line between a center station and a substation, which are coupled to the pipe at center and subordinate locations, respectively. The substation sends data signals over the pipe to the center station. These data signals represent the degree of corrosion that is measured at the subordinate location and are monitored by the center station. When a plurality of substations are coupled to the pipe, the center station selects a substation by transmitting through the pipe an address assigned to the substation. Each substation returns the assigned address to the center station in combination with the signals representing the measured degree of corrosion at the addressed substation. Preferably, the center station produces the selected address twice while each substation produces the assigned address and the measured corrosion signal, twice.
