  • Patent number: 9221391
Abstract: A vehicle turn signal switch device whereby the production of knocking sounds by a cancellation pin when a steering wheel is turned in the direction of a turn signal is suppressed. A turn signal switch includes a fixed member and a movable plate. The cancellation pin, which is supported by the fixed member and the movable plate such that the cancellation pin can swing and move forward and backward relative to a cancellation cam, includes a sliding-contact surface that is in sliding contact with the fixed member. The cancellation pin is biased by a return spring in the direction of the cancellation cam and in the direction of the sliding contact of the sliding-contact surface with the fixed member.

  • Patent number: 7642475
Abstract: Disclosed is a lever operating device having a simple structure and high durability without a contact defect. In the disclosed lever operating device, when an operating lever is tilted in one of the first and second operating surfaces that are substantially orthogonal to each other, a slider supported by a lever support is selectively moved in one of two directions that are substantially orthogonal to each other in a plane parallel to a circuit board, and the electric resistance of a GMR sensor mounted to the circuit board varies depending on the position of a permanent magnet held by the slider. In this way, the operating position of the operating lever is detected.

  • Publication number: 20090231072
Abstract: Provided is a stalk switch device which does not cause a contact failure of a switching device of an operating ring upon rotating and is suitable for a long life-span. The stalk switch device is configured such that a permanent magnet is fixed to a driven member, which is driven by rotation of an operating ring, and a change in magnetic field caused by the movement of the permanent magnet is detected by a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor mounted on a circuit board in a housing. The operating ring, the driven member, and the circuit board are retained by a holder, and the holder is fixed to the housing. As the driven member, for example, a cylindrical rotating member formed integrally with the operating ring, a rotation shaft member rotated by a driving gear, which is rotated along with the operating ring, or a slider, which is driven by a rotating driving member which is rotated along with the operating ring to move linearly, is used.

  • Publication number: 20090223785
Abstract: A switch device for key operation includes a housing having a receiving recess at an inner bottom face of which an electrode pattern is disposed, a rotary holder rotatably disposed in the receiving recess to hold at least two movable contact members that are brought close to or separated from the electrode pattern, a bottomed recess formed in the rotary holder along its rotation axis, a slider disposed in a slidingly movable manner in the bottomed recess, a spring disposed within the bottomed recess so as to bias the slider in a direction opposite to an insertion direction of an external key when the external key is inserted into the bottomed recess, and a case having an opening allowing the slider to be exposed therethrough, and attached to the housing so as to cover the receiving recess. The at least two movable contact members respectively have extending pieces that extend into the bottomed recess.

  • Publication number: 20060169879
Abstract: Terminal insertion holes for allowing terminals of photo sensors (photo ICs and photo interrupters) to be respectively inserted therethrough are bored in a circuit board on which the photo sensors are to be mounted. Some of the terminal insertion holes regulate the corresponding terminals in the circumferential direction of the code plate so that each photo sensor is positioned in the circumferential direction. A holder fixedly positioned on the circuit board is provided with a reference surface and a projection that face each other along a radial direction of the code plate within each sensor holding hole, A main body of each photo sensor is fitted into each sensor holding hole so that each photo sensor is positioned in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20050218314
Abstract: A rotation angle detector contains code plate which can be rotated in connection with a steering shaft and has protrusion groups. arranged on an inner track and outer track T1, T2 and photo-interrupter groups each having a pair of first photo-interrupters arranged along the inner track T1 and a second photo-interrupter arranged in the substantially center location of the photo-interrupters. Among the photo-interrupters the light-emitting diode of the first photo-interrupter arranged at the inner track T1 is located at the outer circumferential side and the light-emitting diode of the second photo-interrupter arranged at the outer track T2 is located at the inner circumferential side.
