  • Patent number: 7321577
Abstract: In the Mobile IPv4 network in the present invention, FA control servers (7a, 7b) that process only Mobile IP signaling, and IP tunnel routers (8a, 8c), being an IP tunnel endpoint, which also function as a default router with respect to a mobile node MN, form an FA function (referred to as a virtual FA). Further, an HA control server (9) that processes only Mobile IP signaling, and an IP tunnel router (8b), being an IP tunnel endpoint, form an HA function (referred to as a virtual HA). Here, the relation between the FA control servers (7a, 7b) and the IP tunnel routers (8a, 8c), and the relation between the HA control server (9) and the IP tunnel router (8b) are such that the former is a Media Gateway Controller (MGC) and the latter is a Media Gateway (MG). The FA control server (7a) notifies a mobile node MN (2) of the own address as an FA care-of address, in the form of a regular broadcast or query response.

  • Patent number: 7058457
Abstract: A hot water supply system operated by linking plural water heaters. A system controller is provided in every specific number of water heaters for centralizing controls thereof. A host system controller is further provided in every specific number of the system controllers for centralizing controls thereof, and finally the controls are centralized in one highest system controller. In this configuration, therefore, the highest system controller controls the operation of individual water heaters by way of the lower system controllers.

  • Patent number: 5379293
Abstract: A small and economical voice packet assembling/disassembling (PAD) apparatus, which includes only one packet assembler/disassembler for a plurality of channels. The packet assembler receives coded voice data from a plurality of CODECs provided for each channel, and assembles voice packets by using the coded voice data. The packet disassembler disassembles voice packets to coded voice data and supplies them to a plurality of CODECs provided for each channel.
