  • Publication number: 20180164671
Abstract: This aerial image display device is provided with an optical plate having a plurality of reflective surfaces orthogonal to each other in plan view, a projection device, a specular mirror, and a screen. The mirror includes a counter mirror disposed spaced apart from the optical plate at the opposite side of a focused image M across the optical plate. The projection device and the screen sandwich a light path between the counter mirror and the optical plate at the opposite side of the focused image (M) across the optical plate. The projection light emitted from the projection device is incident on the screen after reflecting from the counter mirror, and then incident on the optical plate after reflecting from the screen and then from the same counter mirror.

  • Patent number: 9509903
Abstract: An image processing apparatus, method and non-transitory computer program storage device cooperate to process successive images. Respective frames are created and positioned within the successive images, where each frame has a border. When changes between the frame borders are detected, a controller triggers the capturing of an image. This approach results in the capturing of interesting moments, even if the subject is not a human subject. The change in frame boundaries may be categorized in a variety of ways, including change in aspect ratio, shape, orientation, and position, for example. By detecting the changes in this way, an imaging device can capture images of interesting events automatically.

  • Publication number: 20160330366
Abstract: The present technology relates to an image processing device and method, and a program for enabling easier recognition of the degree of focus of an image after photographing. A focus area determining unit calculates focus scores based on a photographed image, the focus scores indicating the degrees of focus of the respective areas in the photographed image. A warning control unit determines the degree of focus of a predetermined area in the photographed image in accordance with the focus scores for the respective areas, and issues a warning instruction in accordance with a result of the determination. The warning is issued by displaying the warning, outputting a warning sound, vibrating, or emitting light, for example. As the degree of focus is determined in accordance with the focus scores, neither blurring nor defocusing is caused, and the user can be prompted to check the degree of focus. The present technology can be applied to digital still cameras.

  • Publication number: 20160295107
Abstract: The present technology relates to an imaging system, a warning generation device and method, an imaging device and method, and a program capable of more simply checking an imaging situation. A camera-control detection processing unit of the imaging device performs a detection process for various types of control based on a captured image, and an image quality control processing unit detects occurrence of abnormality corresponding to each cause based on the result of the detection process. A warning determination processing unit generates a warning flag indicating whether or not abnormality occurs based on the detection result by the image quality control processing unit, and a wireless transmission unit transmits the warning flag to a warning generation device. A wireless reception unit of the warning generation device receives the warning flag, and a warning means control processing unit instructs warning according to the warning flag.
