  • Patent number: 9524160
Abstract: A gateway electronic control unit (ECU) includes an update condition table that indicates a vehicle load state that updates an ECU program corresponding to each of several ECUs. The gateway ECU wirelessly communicates with an external center apparatus to receive an update file. The gateway ECU uses the update condition table to determine whether the current vehicle load state equals a lightly loaded state capable of updating an ECU program or a heavily loaded state incapable of updating an ECU program. If the current vehicle load state is determined to equal the lightly loaded state, the gateway ECU updates an ECU program using the update file received from the center apparatus. If the current vehicle load state is determined to equal the heavily loaded state, the gateway ECU performs environment improvement control based on the update condition table to change the current vehicle load state to the lightly loaded state.

  • Patent number: 9219802
Abstract: An in-vehicle system comprising a gateway between multiple networks is disclosed. One of the networks specifies that when a source apparatus connected to the one of the networks sends a request message to a destination apparatus connected to another one of the networks, the source apparatus should time-out if the source apparatus does not receive a response message within a specified time after sending the request message. Upon receipt of the request message, the gateway relays the request message to the destination apparatus and sends a wait request code to the source apparatus to instruct the source apparatus to wait by extending the specified time.

  • Publication number: 20090187892
Abstract: A test case generation apparatus checks if there is a source code inspected portion in a model that is used to generate a test case. The inspected portion in the model is determined based on inspection information, and, when the inspected portion is found in the model, the inspected portion of the model is simplified. Thus, the test case generated by the test case generation apparatus has a fewer number of test patterns due to the simplified model of the inspected portion, and, as a result, achieves an enhancement of performance limit of an automatic test case generation of the test case generation apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20080189523
Abstract: A calculation apparatus comprises a plurality of processing units that processes a plurality of predetermined calculation processes each composed of steps, respectively, and a memory device to which the plurality of processing units are accessible. Specific information that specifies a step that should be executed next among steps of each of the calculation process is memorized in the memory device. In each of the processing units, only when a step specified by the specific information should be executed by that processing unit, the specified step is executed, and the specific information is updated to allow the next step to be executed. This is repeated for all the steps of each calculation process assigned to the plurality of processing units. Each processing unit will not execute steps until the specific information shows that a step specified by the specific information is for the processing unit.
