  • Patent number: 10984510
Abstract: A video display apparatus includes: a video receiver that acquires video data including a main video; a generator that generates first characteristics information that indicates first dynamic luminance characteristics by using the video data when a luminance dynamic range format of the main video indicated by the video data is different from a display format that indicates a luminance dynamic range format displayable by the video display apparatus, the first dynamic luminance characteristics being dynamic luminance characteristics indicating a time-dependent change in luminance characteristics of the main video and correspond to the display format; a tone mapping processor that performs a tone mapping process of converting a luminance of the main video based on conversion characteristics according to the first dynamic luminance characteristics indicated by the first characteristics information generated by the generator; and a display that displays the main video that has undergone the tone mapping process.

  • Publication number: 20210014314
Abstract: A device management system includes: a server; base stations for long-distance wireless communication; and a device that communicatively connect to one of the base stations and that each sequentially transmit, to the server via the one base station, operation information indicating the current operation state of the device. Upon sequentially receiving the operation information, each of the base stations sequentially transmits, to the server, unique information unique to the base station together with the sequentially received operation information. The server sequentially receives, and sequentially stores in association with each other, the operation information and the unique information. When first and second unique information received at first and second times, respectively, are different, the server separately manages first operation information received in a first period ending at the first time and second operation information received in a second period starting at the second time.

  • Publication number: 20210006689
Abstract: A video display system includes: a tone mapping processor; a display; and a metadata processor that generates first dynamic metadata that indicates a maximum luminance that is constant over a plurality of time intervals by using static metadata. The video display system switches between: a first operation of (i) generating the first dynamic metadata by using the static metadata, performed by the metadata processor and (ii) performing the tone mapping process by using the first dynamic metadata, performed by the tone mapping processor; and a second operation of performing the tone mapping process by using second dynamic metadata in which the maximum luminance varies over the plurality of time intervals, performed by the tone mapping processor.

  • Publication number: 20200413019
Abstract: A video display system includes: a tone mapping processor that performs a tone mapping process of converting a luminance of a video by using conversion characteristics according to a maximum luminance of the video; and a display that displays the video that has undergone the tone mapping process. The tone mapping processor switches between a first tone mapping process of dynamically changing the conversion characteristics according to a time-depend change in the maximum luminance of the video and a second tone mapping process that is performed using constant conversion characteristics irrespective of the time-depend change in the maximum luminance of the video.

  • Patent number: 10697053
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provides a method for manufacturing a black plated steel sheet that is capable of more evenly blackening the area of the plated steel sheet to be blackened. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a black plated steel sheet by bringing a plated steel sheet with an Al- and Mg-containing hot-dip galvanized layer into contact with water vapor inside a sealed vessel. This method performs, in the following order: a first step for heating a plated steel sheet disposed inside a sealed vessel in the presence of a gas, the dew point of which is always less than the plated steel sheet temperature; a second step for evacuating the heated ambient gas inside the sealed vessel to make the pressure of the gas inside the sealed vessel to be 70 kPa or less; and a third step for introducing water vapor inside the sealed vessel in which the pressure of the gas therein has been reduced to 70 kPa or less to blacken the galvanized layer.

  • Patent number: 10611362
Abstract: When a braking request is made while a SOC recovery switch is turned off, regeneration driving of a rear wheel motor is prohibited. In this case, a front wheel motor, the rear wheel motor, and an oil hydraulic brake device are controlled such that requested braking torque is exerted on a vehicle with regenerative driving of the front wheel motor and without regenerative driving of the rear wheel motor. When the braking request is made while the SOC recovery switch is turned on, the regeneration driving of the rear wheel motor is permitted. In this case, the front wheel motor, the rear wheel motor, and the oil hydraulic brake device are controlled such that the requested braking torque is exerted on the vehicle with regenerative driving of the front wheel motor and the rear wheel motor.
