Abstract: A flow control valve comprises a fixed iron core, an electromagnetic coil, a casing made of a magnetic substance in which the electromagnetic coil is received, a movable iron core, a return spring for urging the movable iron core in the opposite direction to an attractive force, a flow control valve main body provided with a fluid inlet passage and a fluid outlet passage, a valve provided at the movable iron core, and a valve seat with which the valve is in contact in a non-electric conductive state, wherein at least one of the fluid inlet and outlet passages of the fluid control valve main body is formed to restrict the maximum flow rate of the flow control valve.
