Patent number: 11590912Abstract: A front vehicle-body structure flows air from the vehicle lower side to its upper side. After hitting a front bumper face, the air is separated and flows around and along a top face of an exterior member, ensuring aerodynamic performance. Embodiments include exterior members covering the upper side of an engine room, and a front grille disposed on a lower side relative to a front end portion of the exterior member. A rectification member extends the width of the exterior member in the vehicle width direction on the lower side of the exterior member front end portion. The rectification member includes a front piece portion extending toward the vehicle up-down-direction lower side from the exterior member to an upper end portion of the front grille, and a lower piece portion extending toward the vehicle rear side from an upper end of the front piece portion.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2021Date of Patent: February 28, 2023Assignee: MAZDA MOTOR CORPORATIONInventors: Michiya Mizokane, Yuki Ikawa, Masayoshi Enomoto, Yoshiatsu Kuga, Satoshi Okamoto

Patent number: 5647612Abstract: An apparatus for fixing a male and female couplings which are fitted with each other. A fixing device includes a first and second fixing member of a substantially semicircular cylindrical shape. A hinge device is provided for rotating the first and second fixing members between an opened condition and a closed condition. At the closed condition, the first and second fixing members cooperate to form a recess of a shape corresponding to that of the fitted part of the couplings thereby axially holding the couplings. A releasable lock is constructed by a catch member on the first fixing members and a latch member on the second fixing member. The releasable lock allows the fixing members to be easily engaged and disengaged, thereby increasing productivity during the pipe fitting operation.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 1995Date of Patent: July 15, 1997Assignee: Nippondenso Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satohisa Yoshida, Akihito Namikawa, Kenji Ogura, Masayoshi Enomoto

Patent number: 5291941Abstract: A heater core is connected with an engine to receive a hot engine-coolant, which operates as a main heater. An evaporator in a refrigerating cycle operates as an auxiliary heater. A condenser is connected to an outlet of the compressor, and the evaporator is connected to an inlet of the compressor. A bypass conduit is provided, one end of which is connected to the outlet side of the compressor and another end of which is connected to an inlet side of the evaporator. A expansion valve is disposed in the bypass conduit. In heating stage, the compressed hot refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows into the bypass conduit. The refrigerant is expanded by the expansion valve and radiates the heat in the evaporator.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 1992Date of Patent: March 8, 1994Assignee: Nippondenso Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masayoshi Enomoto, Hiroshi Kishita, Satoshi Itoh
