  • Patent number: 6657176
Abstract: A prism for reflecting rays of light 17L and 17R incident from left and right image pick-up directions on the rear side of the direction of travel A is disposed in parallel to the vertical direction of a vehicle. The image pick-up optical axis of an image pick-up unit 15 is set to tilt vertically and obliquely with respect to a horizontal plane C, whereby the images in the respective image pick-up directions which are obliquely above or below the horizontal plane are picked up by the image pick-up unit 15.

  • Patent number: 6587285
Abstract: In a vehicle periphery visual confirmation apparatus, between the vertical angle portion 5 of a prism 4 and the front end portion 28 of a case 3A is interposed a light shield portion 3a which shields light rays crossing substantially in the right and left direction in front of the prism 4. Even in case where light rays coming from the outside enter in front of the vertical angle portion 5 of the prism 4 and are going to cross in front of the prism 4, the light rays can be prevented by the light shield portion 3a. This can prevent the overlapped reflection of a vision image resulting from the fact that the light rays crossing in front of the prism are reflected by the internal surfaces of the penetration window portions and enter the interior portion of the prism.

  • Publication number: 20030067693
Abstract: In a vehicle periphery visual confirming apparatus 1A, the vertical angle portion 5 of a prism 4 is chamfered by cutting away the vertical angle adjacent areas 5L, 5R, and light rays 18R (18L) entering the portion of the prism 4, where the vertical angle adjacent areas 5R (5L) was once present, are allowed to pass in front of the chamfered surface 5a and go to the outside through the penetration window portion 2L (2R) of a case, or, are allowed to enter the chamfered surface 5a and are scattered by the rough surface of the chamfered surface 5a, so that the light rays are prevented from advancing into the prism 4.

  • Publication number: 20020118471
Abstract: In an apparatus for watching around a vehicle, an internal reflection preventive film 37 for preventing stray light from undergoing total reflection in a prism is formed outside an effective area with respect to an imaging lens 9 disposed to the rear side 8B of the prism. • Patent number: 6237348
Abstract: A liquefied gas is transfer filled by drawing out a nonazeotropic mixture stored in a first container and containing at least two liquefied gases differing in boiling point as essential components from a liquid phase thereof. The mixture is then transferred filled into a second container. The first container is filled with a supplement liquid or supplement gas in an amount making up for the portion of the capacity of the first container that is equal to the decrease in volume of the liquid phase of the nonazeotropic mixture resulting from transfer filling. The supplement liquid is the liquid phase of the liquefied gas mixture having the same composition as that of the nonazeotropic mixture stored in the first container.

  • Patent number: 5894660
Abstract: The last-in terminals of temporary binding circuits are located with relation to their corresponding joint connectors. The last-in terminals are removably held in a temporary holding jig which is inserted into the joint connectors and remain therein when the holding jig is withdrawn. Branch circuits may also be established by means of conductive clips having suitably located contacts. By this Invention, the last-in terminals of the temporary binding circuits can be practically and efficiently processed. Moreover, the use of a female housing to be connected to the joint connector can be eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5683257
Abstract: Terminals of a wire harness are sorted for each contact of a unit structure to which the terminals are to be connected. The sorted terminals are temporarily held by a jig in a configuration which matches the arrangement in which they are to be connected to the corresponding contacts. The, terminals are arranged in rows in the proper connection arrangement, and are transferred to the contacts and connected in this state. A retainer is then placed in the unit structure containing the connected terminals, thereby holding them in place. It is consequently possible to reduce the frequency of erroneous insertion, and to improve operating performance markedly.

  • Patent number: 5630273
Abstract: A holding jig for temporarily holding a plurality of last-in terminals of a wire harness, the holding jig removably surrounding the terminal. In a preferred embodiment, guiding devices which permit the terminals to be transferred are provided.By temporarily holding a last-in terminal in the jig, deformation in transport, and tangling in manufacture, etc. can be avoided. In addition, in another preferred embodiment, the temporarily held last-in terminals not yet inserted can be inserted even into connectors in which some last-in terminals are already present.
