  • Publication number: 20180131817
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a power supply switch, a display, a light-emitting unit, and a controller. The power supply switch is used to perform a control function. The display is such that a time from switching on of the power supply switch until occurrence of a screen change is long and a user is likely to fail to correctly recognize a switching-on state. The light-emitting unit is switched on in a time until the screen change occurs. The switching on is performed in such a manner that the user is notified that the power supply switch is in a switching-on state. After the controller is activated through an operation of switching on the power supply switch, the controller switches off the light-emitting unit according to a switching-off condition.

  • Publication number: 20170129217
Abstract: A multilayer composite body in which a shaped metal article, a thermosetting resin layer, a modified polyolefin resin layer, and a polypropylene-based resin composition, or a PP-based GFRTP are laminated in the order of description. A multilayer composite body of a metal and a resin is obtained which excels in a fixing strength (shear breaking stress) between the shaped metal article and the molded article of the polypropylene-based resin composition. The thermosetting resin layer is composed mainly of a urethane resin or an epoxy resin. The polypropylene-based resin composition is molded by an injection molding. The modified polyolefin resin forming the modified polyolefin resin layer includes one or two or more of non-chlorinated modified polyolefin resins having a weighted average of melting points of 70° C. to 110° C., as determined with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC).

  • Patent number: 8924759
Abstract: A power-supply control device includes a transition section, a body-capable-of-movement detection section, a return control section, a reference-time-period setting section, a state determination section, and a correction section. The transition section shifts a state of an operation target section from one state to another state among a power-supply state and multiple types of non-power-supply states. The body-capable-of-movement detection section detects a body capable of movement. The return control section controls the transition section so as to return the state of the operation target section to the power-supply state. The reference-time-period setting section sets a reference time period. The state determination section checks a state of detection of the body capable of movement after the reference time period elapses. The correction section corrects the reference time period on the basis of detection position information.

  • Patent number: 5404128
Abstract: A safety control apparatus positively discriminates between an object and a person through the detection of subtle physical movement corresponding to the heart activity and the breathing unique to the life activity of the human body from a output signal of a vibration sensor disposed on a seat so as to accurately decide whether or not a person is present. The maintenance of the safe operation of the moving vehicle can be realized. The starting of the moving vehicle is inhibited if the reserved seat is determined to be unoccupied in accordance with the decision result. In the case where the person is present, the moving of the vehicle is not started before the engagement of the seat belt has been detected.

  • Patent number: 5011539
Abstract: A method for descaling the inside of a jacket of a glass-lined instrument by using a cleaning solution containing a detergent and an inhibitor is disclosed, wherein the amount of hydrogen permeated through the matrix of the instrument to the lining glass side is estimated by measuring a rate of hydrogen permeation through the jacket material or a test piece fitted to the circulation line of the cleaning solution and inserting the measured value into a previously established relationship between thickness of a steel plate and a rate of hydrogen permeation, and the concentrations of the detegent and the inhibitor in the cleaning solution, the descaling temperature or the descaling time is controlled so that the rate of hydrogen permeation through the matrix may not exceed 30 ml per m.sup.2 of the matrix during the descaling. A relatively large amount of scales can be rapidly and easily removed without causing breaking of the lining glass due to hydrogen permeation while minimizing corrosion of the matrix.
