    Abstract: A protective cover is molded through injection molding of a synthetic resin and includes a disc part, a sensor holder part protruding inward from the disc part, and a protruding part protruding inward from the disc part and being continuous with the sensor holder part. The disc part includes a separation wall which is thinner than other portions of the disc part and separates a magnetic encoder and a magnetic sensor from each other. The protruding part has, at the inward-side face thereof, a gate mark caused by the injection molding. The protruding part is provided with, at the outward-side face thereof, a thickness reduction part extending inward so as to be close to the gate mark.

    Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide a manufacturing method of an insert molded article that makes it possible to manufacture efficiently the insert molded article including a metallic insert, an inside member made of a synthetic resin and covering a portion of the insert, and an outside member made of a synthetic resin different from the material of the inside member and covering a portion of the inside member using general molding machines, not a dedicated two-color molding machine. General molding machines are used to manufacture the insert molded article formed by injection molding of a resin part in twice. An insert core 7 is used in common in primary molding using a primary molding die C1 and in a secondary molding using a secondary molding die. A round shaft 7C of the insert core 7 is fitted into an internal hole 2C of an insert 2 to form a coupled body 10 in which the insert 2 and the insert core 7 are coupled together.

    Abstract: A protective cover includes: a synthetic resin disc part having formed therein a separation wall which is thinner than other parts of the disc part and separates a magnetic encoder and a magnetic sensor from each other; and a synthetic resin sensor holder part protruding inward from the disc part. A gate mark caused by the injection molding is present n an outer peripheral surface of the disc part or an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical part continuous with the disc part, in the radially outer side of the separation wall. Since the gate is at the radially outer side, of the separation wall, which is near the separation wall, no charging end weld is generated on the separation wall when a molten synthetic resin material is injected from the gate into the cavity of the injection mold die and solidified in an injection molding step.

The method includes using a two-stage process, including a configuration stage and a run-time stage, for processing objects for a printing device. The configuration stage is executed prior to the run-time stage, which operates in real-time. During the configuration stage, the system predetermines a state transition list, devices that need to be monitored, devices that need to be controlled, and other variables used during the run-time stage. Once the configuration stage is complete, the system executes the run-time stage in real-time to complete processing of an object for a printing device. By pre-calculating items during the configuration stage, the system reduces the execution time of the run-time stage in real-time. As a result, the performance of the microcontroller in real-time is enhanced.
