Abstract: The present invention relates to a method to achieve a reversible change of the colour of hair dyed with an azo dye wherein the change of the colour can be effected by, for example, the salonist or the consumer in a simple manner. The colour of the hair thus dyed may be changed simply by treating the dyed hair with an acid treatment composition at any time after the first dyeing treatment. If desired by the consumer, the colour may be returned to substantially the original post dye colour by treating the hair further with an alkaline treatment composition.

Abstract: In a webbing take-up device, when the release of a webbing belt is detected from the signal of a buckle switch, a motor starts driving, the webbing belt is taken up, and a computing circuit increases a voltage Eb in accordance with an integrated time after the signal is switched. In this state, a lock current flows due to an output shaft of the motor being stopped, and when the power to the motor is cut off by increasing the lock current, the values of voltages El and Ed respectively corresponding to the integrated time in which the lock current is powered and the integrated time in which the power to the motor is cut off are subtracted from the value of the voltage Eb, and the motor is driven until the computing result reaches a predetermined value.

Abstract: A buckle pretensioner system includes a substantially L-shaped rail for guiding a buckle body of a buckle from a position where the buckle body engages with a tongue plate to a position corresponding to a lumbar region of a vehicle occupant. When a vehicle disposed with the buckle pretensioner system undergoes a sudden deceleration, a piston inside a cylinder is moved in a frontward direction of the vehicle by gas generated by the actuation of a gas generator, a buckle stay is pulled by a wire coupled to the piston, and the buckle stay is moved along the shape of the rail. As a result, the buckle body supported by the buckle stay pivots from the position where the buckle body engages with the tongue plate to a vehicle occupant restraining position of a webbing belt, and then is pulled to the lumbar region-corresponding position.

Abstract: Provided is a hair cosmetic composition, which contains the following components (A) and (B): (A) a hydroxy-free tricarboxylic acid having from 4 to 20 carbon atoms in total, or salt thereof, and (B) at least one or more organic solvents selected from the group consisting of aromatic alcohols, N-alkylpyrrolidones, alkylene carbonates, polypropylene glycols, lactones and cyclic ketones, wherein the organic solvent has a ClogP of from ?2 to 3; and wherein the hair cosmetic composition has a pH of from 2 to 5 at 25° C. when diluted to 20 times the weight with water. Provided also is a hair quality improving method which comprises treating the hair with the hair cosmetic composition. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention can for example give strength/body, manageability, and set retention property to the hair which is apt to be dry and moistureless owing to the damage by coloring, permanent waving, or repetition of excessive blow drying.

Abstract: Provided are a hair bleach composition, hair dye composition and a hair treatment additive having excellent bleaching power, capable of dyeing the hair with a bright and good color, and less damaging to the hair and less irritating to the scalp. Described specifically, they are a two-part hair bleach composition, which contains (a) a nitrogenous compound represented by the following formula (1) or (2): or salt thereof, or (A) a nitrogenous compound having a solubility parameter logP in octanol/water ranging from ?1 to 4 and a hydrogen peroxide remaining ratio of from 5 to 90%, or salt thereof, (b) an oxidizing agent, and optionally (c) an alkali agent and, after mixing, has a pH of from 7.5 to 12; a two-part hair dye composition comprising (a) or (A), (b) and (c) and further (d) an oxidation dye or direct dye; and an additive used therefor.
