  • Publication number: 20110307108
Abstract: A power generating system includes an engine, a generator, an inverter device interconnected with a commercial power supply, and a control device having a phase locked loop circuit, which includes an output port connected to a PWM circuit and increases a frequency of a command current supplied thereto upon an input of a timing voltage signal while the commercial power supply fails, wherein the control device controls the command current to correspond to phase of the timing voltage signal while the inverter device is actuated, fluctuates a phase of the command current by a first variable and calculates a phase difference between the command current and the timing voltage signal, in order to temporarily determine a possibility of the power outage, and then upon a temporal positive conclusion, the control device forcibly fluctuates the phase of the command current by a second variable and conclusively detects the power outage.

  • Patent number: 6490787
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for aligning and supplying an electrical component capable of aligning a first electrical component to be mounted on a second electrical component relative to a suction head without using a pre-alignment stage. On supplying an IC chip being the first electrical component to a position at which the IC chip is mounted on a liquid crystal panel being the second electrical component with the suction head sucking the IC chip, after the suction head sucks the IC chip in a recessed portion in a container, the suction head is moved in an X direction and the container is moved in a Y direction to thereby cause the IC chip abut a wall of the recessed portion, and thereafter the movements in the X and Y direction are still carried out to thereby displace the suction position of the IC chip relative to the suction head to achieve the alignment thereof.

  • Patent number: 5889861
Abstract: The radio communication system has at least one first radio station such as a base station and a plurality of second radio stations such as mobile stations. The base station at least possesses a public key, and each of the mobile stations possesses a public-key cryptography function for using the public key and an identity itself. An identity confidentiality method includes steps of generating a time-varying public key at the base station based upon a predetermined time initial, and repeatedly broadcasting, from the base station, the generated time-varying public key to all the mobile stations. The mobile stations cipher their respective identities with the broadcasted time-varying public key so that the encrypted/identities of the mobile stations, which are sent to the base station, remain confidential. After enciphering their identity, the mobile stations wait to be called.

  • Patent number: 5761309
Abstract: An authentication system whereby authentication load can be distributed in the network without sharing secret information of users is provided. The system has a single master authentication center arranged in the network, the master authentication center sharing with the user a user secret key, and a plurality of slave authentication centers sharing with the master authentication center respective secret keys different from the user secret key. The master authentication center authenticates the user by using the user secret key and issues a certificate information which certifies legitimation of the user, to the user if the user is authenticated as a legitimate user. The slave authentication center authenticates the certificate information from the user and issues a permission information which allows an access to a specified server or an application server in the network, to the user if the user is authenticated as a legitimate user.

  • Patent number: 5704413
Abstract: A molten metal is poured into and stored in a hopper in a rotary-mold gravity casting process, so that a small amount of the molten metal is allowed to flow out of the hopper into a runner to previously fill up the runner. A casting mold is rotated from this state, thereby causing the molten metal to be filled from the hopper into a cavity by a difference in height generated between the molten metal level in the hopper and the molten metal level in the casting mold. Thus, when the molten metal, once stored in the hopper, is filled into the cavity in the casting mold by rotating the casting mold, the inclusion of air can be prevented from being produced due to ruffling of the molten metal in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 5666849
Abstract: Sliced workpieces severed from a metal extrusion transversely of it and into a desired thickness, or bent ones made from the extruded metal pipes, are restrained at their regulated correct positions each in its entirety or in part. Subsequently, the workpieces are compressed in a direction to the thickness or in the direction perpendicular to the primary bending direction. Plastic deformation of or exceeding 0.5%, or more preferably 2-5%, will be produced in each workpiece. Alternatively, those sliced or bent workpieces may be pressed in a direction to that of thickness or in the direction perpendicular to a previous bending, after each workpiece is restrained in its entirety or in part at the regulated correct dimension.

  • Patent number: 4998253
Abstract: A syndrome sequential decoding system for error correction of a convolutional code has a syndrome former for providing a syndrome sequence from a received sequence, a syndrome buffer memory for storing the syndrome sequence, an estimated error buffer memory for storing an estimated error sequence, a syndrome register for representing a syndrome state under searching, a comparator for testing if content of the syndrome register is all zero, and an algorithm controller. The algorithm controller controls the syndrome register, calculates a path metric and raises a flag in the estimated error buffer memory for showing an estimated error bit position. The syndrome sequential decoding system also includes an exclusive-OR circuit for correcting an information bit error according to the output of the estimated error buffer memory. When the content of the syndrome register is all zero, it shows that a currently searching path merges with the maximum likelihood path.
