Abstract: A number of predetermined commands for a computer are divided into a plurality of groups depending upon their priority. The commands are successively displayed in the groups. The selected commands are put into a group having the highest priority for display, so that the commands having a high frequency of use are displayed in the first display group. This is accomplished by the provision of a memory table which stores data that divides the commands into groups depending upon their priority for display, a command display, device which successively displays the commands in their groups according to the priority display order in response to display instructions that are input successively and based upon the data stored in the memory table, a command operation unit which initiates execution of the commands in response to the selection of the displayed commands, and a priority order renewal unit which renews the memory table such that executed commands are put into the group having the highest priority.
