    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display panel which comprises a first substrate, a second substrate arranged opposite to the first substrate with a gap therebetween, a plurality of display elements provided between the first and second substrates, a sealing member surrounding the display elements and bonding the first and second substrates to each other, and a filler layer provided between the first and second substrates and located outside the sealing member. The method comprises applying filler to a roller, moving the roller on an edge of the display panel, thereby filling a gap between the second substrate and that part of the first substrate which lies outside the sealing member, and curing the filler filled in the gap.
