  • Patent number: 11491559
Abstract: An end mill includes: a columnar tool body that rotates about a center axis; and outer peripheral cutting edges on an outer peripheral surface of the tool body, the outer peripheral cutting edges including a first outer peripheral cutting edge and a second outer peripheral cutting edge. A relief angle ? of the first outer peripheral cutting edge changes to increase in an axial direction of the tool body from a bottom face that is one end of the tool body. A relief angle ? of the second outer peripheral cutting edge changes to decrease in the axial direction from the bottom face.

  • Patent number: 11491507
Abstract: An object is to suppress a variation in amount of a sealant that is applied on an object to be sealed. There is provided a sealant discharge nozzle configured such that a sealant from a cartridge is discharged from a discharge hole of the sealant discharge nozzle. The sealant discharge nozzle has a leading end portion comprising a pair of side wall portions; and a connecting wall portion configured to connect the pair of side wall portions with each other and provided in cooperation with the pair of side wall portions to form a first recess that is open on one side in a first direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the sealant discharge nozzle, and on a leading end side. The discharge hole has an opening formed on a first recess side of the connecting wall portion.

  • Patent number: 10968050
Abstract: A transfer apparatus includes first and second holding portions, a hand, a hand moving portion, and fluid pressure driving and control units. The control unit acquires an inter-holding portion distance between the first and second holding portions for holding a workpiece. The control unit makes the hand moving portion move the hand to a predetermined position such that the distance between the first and second holding portions becomes the inter-holding portion distance when the first holding portion moved by the fluid pressure driving unit is brought into contact with a contact portion provided at a work field, the predetermined position being located away from the contact portion. With the hand located at the predetermined position, the control unit makes the fluid pressure driving unit move the first holding portion to contact with the contact portion, and the control unit stops driving of the fluid pressure driving unit.

  • Publication number: 20200406391
Abstract: There is provided a linear friction welding method of joining a first member with a second member. The linear friction welding method includes bringing a first plane, a second plane and a first corner portion in an R shape or in a chamfered shape of a first joint surface of the first member into contact with a third plane, a forth plane and a second corner portion in a shape that matches the shape of the first corner portion of a second joint surface of the second member; vibrating either the first member or the second member along an extending direction of the first corner portion and the second corner portion; and joining the first member with the second member by using frictional heat that is generated by friction between the first joint surface and the second joint surface.
