  • Publication number: 20100234730
Abstract: An image processing device (8) includes: a frequency analysis section (12) for detecting an amplitude frame (PA) of a specific frequency component and a phase frame (PP) of the specific frequency component by performing a frequency analysis of time-series changes px,y(ti) in echo intensity frame (px,y) or time-series changes qx,y(ti) in Doppler velocity frame (qx,y) at various points within a cross-section of a specimen, the echo intensity frame (px,y) and the Doppler velocity frame (qx,y) being each obtained by scanning the cross-section of the specimen with an ultrasonic beam; and an image generation section (13) for generating a two-dimensional image based on the amplitude of the specific frequency component and the phase of the specific frequency component thus detected.
