Abstract: A compressor oil separator installed in a cryogenic refrigerator compressor includes a first tube that extends in a vertical direction. The first tube includes a first communication portion that connects an inside of the first tube to an outside of the first tube. The compressor oil separator also includes a delivery pipe that extends in the vertical direction and is configured to deliver refrigerant, including oil, to the inside of the first tube. The compressor oil separator also includes a filter located between the first tube and the delivery pipe in a cross section intersecting the vertical direction. The delivery pipe includes a delivery port that delivers the refrigerant to the inside of the first tube, the delivery port being located downward from a middle part of the first tube in the vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20080109576
Abstract: A data transfer apparatus includes a memory having first and second queues for storing data transfer information that includes information specifying a first memory area and information specifying a second memory area, a first processor which registers the data transfer information in the first or second queue, and a second processor performing a processing to transfer data stored in the first memory area to the second memory area. The second processor reads out the data transfer information registered in the first queue, transfers the data based on the read data transfer information, and decides if data transfer information succeeding to the read data transfer information is registered in the first queue. If the succeeding data transfer information is registered, the second processor reads out the succeeding data transfer information from the first queue, and performs the data transfer processing based on the read data transfer information.

  • Publication number: 20070220376
Abstract: Proposed is a virtualization system and failure correction method capable of improving the operating efficiency of maintenance work. This virtualization system has one or more storage apparatuses, and a virtualization apparatus for virtualizing a storage extent provided respectively by each of the storage apparatuses and providing the storage extent to a host system, wherein each of the storage apparatuses sends failure information containing detailed information of the failure to the virtualization apparatus when a failure occurs in an own storage apparatus; and wherein the virtualization apparatus stores the failure information sent from the storage apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5798033
Abstract: A process for preparing a porous metallic body comprising the steps of: rendering a porous resin body electrically conductive, electroplating the conductive resin, and heating the electroplated resin to remove the resin, wherein the step of rendering the resin electrically conductive is conducted by coating the resin with a coating composition containing amorphous carbon particles as a conductive material. In the process, substantially spherical carbon particles may be used as the conductive material. The substantially spherical carbon particles are still preferably amorphous carbon. The thus obtained porous metallic body has reduced defect and more smooth skeleton in the porous body, is less likely to cause stress concentration upon application of bending and tensile force, has lower carbon content, and superior mechanical strength, and, therefore, the substrate is suitable as an electrode substrate for batteries.
