  • Patent number: 5769380
Abstract: A rubber vibration isolator with a bracket and a method of manufacturing the same. An elastic rubber member is vulcanization bonded to both a metallic cylindrical portion and an inner sleeve disposed inside of the cylindrical portion in a first securing portion opposed to an inner surface of the metallic cylindrical portion and a second securing portion opposed to an outer surface of the inner sleeve. Next, the metallic cylindrical portion is plastically deformed towards an axial center thereof to precompress the elastic rubber member. An arm portion is secured to an outer surface of the plastically deformed cylindrical portion by low temperature welding, thereby forming the bracket.

  • Patent number: 5259598
Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body for elastically connecting a first and a second support member, a partition structure cooperating the elastic body and a flexible diaphragm to partially define a pressure-receiving chamber and a variable-volume equilibrium chamber, respectively, which communicate with each other through an orifice, and a protective member fixed to the second support member for covering the diaphragm. The elastic mount has an elastic support member through which the protective member is elastically attached to the second support member and which cooperates with the protective member to provide a dynamic damper wherein the elastic support member is a spring member while said protective member is a mass member. This dynamic damper is effective to minimize resonating phenomenon of a mounting bracket used for fixing the second support member to one of two members that are flexibly connected by the elastic mount.

  • Patent number: 5218838
Abstract: Two or more indoor units are provided on ceiling and floor of a room. Each of the indoor units has an air heat exchanger for cooling indoor air, and a drain pan for catching drainage produced by the air heat exchanger. A drain pipe is provided in the ceiling and under the floor. The, drainage in each of the drain pans flows into the drainage pipe. The drain in the drain pipe is carried and discharged outdoor by a drain carrying unit.

  • Patent number: 5215294
Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount having a main fluid chamber partially defined by an elastic body between first and second structures, a variable-volume chamber communicating with the main fluid chamber through a passage, and an air chamber at least partially defined by a flexible diaphragm partially defining the main fluid chamber. The main fluid chamber has a flow-restricting portion partially defined by a flow-restricting member disposed in the main fluid chamber. A pressure in the air chamber adjacent to the main fluid chamber is controlled by the pressure control device.

  • Patent number: 4941649
Abstract: A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount for flexible coupling of two members, including an elastic body which is interposed between an inner and an outer sleeve for elastic connection therebetween and which has a pressure-receiving chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid and communicating with an equilibrium chamber through a restricted passage. The elastic body has a portion defining a void formed therethrough in an axial direction of the elastic mount. The void is positioned between the pressure-receiving chamber and one of the inner and outer sleeves, as viewed in a load-receiving direction in which the elastic body is compressed when the elastic mount is attached to the two members.
