  • Patent number: 9197201
Abstract: A signal generator generates a combined signal that is generated only in the period where supply of a pulse signal is effected, a pulse signal whose frequency is of a higher impulse repetition frequency than the frequency of the period setting signal and whose amplitude represents a voltage value that is lower than the high voltage HVDC value. A semiconductor switch accumulates electric charge on a capacitative element by means of the high voltage HVDC from the high voltage generator when the voltage value of the combined signal is lower than the set gate voltage value and generates an impulse voltage whose peak value is the value of the high voltage HVDC, by means of the electric charge that is discharged from the capacitative element when the voltage value of the combined signal exceeds the set gate voltage value.

  • Publication number: 20150141566
Abstract: An object is to provide a technique for manufacturing an outer covering rubber having high-voltage electrical insulation characteristics and mechanical characteristics, which are required for a polymer insulator, by decreasing an amount of an additive conducive to improvement in high-voltage electrical insulation characteristics to less than conventional 3% by mass, without using special additional equipment such as ultrasonic agitation. Provided is an outer covering rubber for a polymer insulator, which is obtained by adding an additive conducive to improvement in high-voltage electrical insulation characteristics to a rubber composition, and the additive is a fine powder obtained by crushing a ceramic hydrate into a particle size of 100 nm or less, and the amount of the additive is 0.5 to 2.5% by mass in the entire raw materials of the outer covering rubber for a polymer insulator.

  • Patent number: 7782063
Abstract: The present invention includes an antenna for measuring an electromagnetic wave radiated from a device to be measured stemming from partial discharge and having sensitivity at least in the UHF band; a filter for extracting a TEM mode component from a measured time waveform; and a measurement device body including a processing section adapted to obtain a second order integral value of the time waveform having undergone the filter processing and obtain a discharge charge quantity from the value. • Patent number: 7626483
Abstract: A self-recovering current limiting fuse protecting a secondary battery having a high rated voltage thanks to its improved breakdown voltage, expanding the application range, shortening the charging time, and realizing maintenance-free. The self-recovering current limiting fuse is made by fluid-dispersing solid conductive particles into a liquid matrix between electrodes. A current limiting operation through evaporation/spreading of the solid conductive particles and a conducting state brought about through collection of the solid conductive particles between the electrodes by dielectrophoretic force of the solid conductive particles are realized repeatedly, and a current limiting operation through evaporation/spreading of the solid conductive particles by overcurrent is realized.

  • Patent number: 5894904
Abstract: A 4-wheel drive vehicle has a driving force control method in which a portion of a driving force for front wheels is distributed to rear wheels through clutches. In a 4-wheel drive state in which a driving force T.sub.p is distributed to rear wheels, for example, if the vehicle is turned leftwards to generate a difference W.sub.R -W.sub.L between left and right rear wheel speeds, it is ensured that a driving force T.sub.R distributed to the right rear wheel, which is an outer wheel during turning of the vehicle, is larger than a driving force T.sub.L distributed to the left rear wheel, which is an inner wheel during turning of the vehicle, thereby providing an enhancement in turning performance. As the difference W.sub.R -W.sub.L between the left and right rear wheel speeds is increased as a result of decreasing of the turning radius of the vehicle, the driving force T.sub.P (=T.sub.L +T.sub.R) distributed to the rear wheels is decreased to avoid an increase in travel resistance.
