  • Publication number: 20230025660
Abstract: A vehicle includes a processor that includes hardware. When an own vehicle is connected to an external network via a communication mesh network created by vehicle-to-vehicle communication that takes place between multiple vehicles, the processor outputs connection information indicating that the own vehicle is connected to the external network as information that is able to be visually recognized from outside of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20180274405
Abstract: A control device for an internal combustion engine including a piston, an oil jet configured to inject oil toward the piston, and an actuator configured to adjust a supply flow rate of the oil to the oil jet. The control device includes an electronic control unit configured to control the actuator such that the supply flow rate under the same engine load and the same engine rotation speed increases as a degree of deterioration of the oil increases.

  • Publication number: 20030106065
Abstract: An information distribution system is provided where broadcasting contents are distributed to an IP network using a multicast address for each set of contents, and a home gateway at home connected to the IP network receives desired contents. A program guide server that retains multicast addresses used for each content distribution is also provided in the system, so that a multicast address of a desired contents can be obtained by accessing the program guide server from a program selection terminal via the IP network, and the home gateway can receive the desired contents based on the multicast address.

  • Patent number: 4940447
Abstract: An autotensioner for adjusting the tension of a timing belt used with an automotive engine. It includes a cylinder case filled with a hydraulic oil, a piston partitioning the interior of the cylinder case into a pressure chamber and a reservoir chamber and a push rod having its bottom end coupled to the piston and the top end adapted to protrude from the cylinder case. A spring is provided to bias the piston and the push rod upwardly. The pressure chamber communicates with the reservoir chamber through a channel formed through the piston. A plate-shaped check valve is provided in the pressure chamber to open and close the bottom of the channel. The plate-shaped valve can respond quickly to the fluctuation of pressure in the pressure chamber because of its reduced mass.
