Abstract: A first component, which is connected to a transmitting component that transmits a brake operation by a driver, is arranged to travel, in response to the brake operation, in a direction in which the transmitting component travels. A second component has a pressure portion to press a brake piston, which actuates friction components of a brake mechanism, in a direction different from the direction in which the transmitting component travels. The first component has an inclined surface. The second component has a contact portion, which comes into contact with the inclined surface, and is arranged such that the pressure portion turns about a fulcrum upon the traveling of the first component.
