  • Patent number: 8608373
Abstract: In a local softening point measuring apparatus and thermal conductivity measuring apparatus using a probe microscope as a base, environment of the prob˜ and a sample surface is set to 1/100 atmospheric pressure (103 Pa) or lower. Otherwise, a side surface of the probe is coated with a thermal insulation material having a thickness that enables thermal dissipation to be reduced to 1/100 or lower, to thereby reduce the thermal dissipation from the side surface of the probe, and exchange heat substantially only at the contacting portion between the probe and the sample surface.

  • Publication number: 20050120231
Abstract: A terminal device and a control server device are connected with each other via a switch. The switch is connected to a network. The switch includes a communication processing unit that accepts connection propriety information and controls the connection of the terminal device to the network using the connection propriety information. The connection propriety information is information about whether the terminal device is allowed to be connected to the network and it is generated by the control server device based on security countermeasure level data of the terminal device.

  • Patent number: 6191804
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of light-emitting elements, each light-emitting element receiving a driving current from a power supply and converting the current into a beam; a plurality of driving elements, each driving element being interposed between the power supply and each light-emitting element and controlling the driving current based on an image signal; and a photoconductor on which the beams from the plurality of light-emitting elements form an image by scanning, wherein each light-emitting element is positioned so immediately adjacent to each driving element that a power leakage factor floating therebetween is reduced, whereby an intensity of the beam is substantially equivalent to the image signal in waveform.

  • Patent number: 5724087
Abstract: An exposure method which has a step of offsetting a first scanning line bend by scanning means with a second scanning line bend by an image forming lens, and/or a step of correcting angles of optical axis of a plurality of light beams in accordance with the amount of a deviation in a subscanning direction due to a difference of the angles of incidence, so that a distance between scanning lines on a photosensitive body due to the plurality of light beams is corrected. An image forming apparatus which has an image forming lens for producing a second scanning line bend is so as to offset a first scanning line bend by scanning means, and/or correcting means for correcting angles of optical axis of a plurality of light beams in accordance with the amount of a deviation in a subscanning direction due to a difference of the angles of incidence, so that a distance between scanning lines on a photosensitive body due to the plurality of light beams is corrected.
