  • Patent number: 9156322
Abstract: A charge cable device includes: a cable having one end detachable from a power source or another charge cable device and an electric power line for supplying electricity to a vehicle from the electric power source or another charge cable device; a charge connector on the other end of the cable detachable from a charge inlet of the vehicle; a cable connector detachable from further another charge cable device to connect between further another charge cable device and the electric power line; and a controller. When the cable connector is not attached to further another charge cable device, the controller controls to supply electricity from the one end of the cable to the charge connector. When the cable connector is attached to further another charge cable device, the controller controls an electric power supply amount of electricity to the charge connector and to further another charge cable device.

  • Publication number: 20140253034
Abstract: A charging system for batteries on electric vehicles includes: a first distributer providing electricity supplying passages, through which a normal speed charging device charges a part of batteries in parallel in a normal speed charging process; a second distributer providing a selective electricity supplying passage, through which a rapid charging device charges one battery in a rapid charging process; and a controller. The controller includes: a charging order control device controlling the second distributer to switch the selective electricity supplying passage according to a charging order; a secondarily charging device controlling the normal speed charging device to secondarily charge the one battery in the normal speed charging process after the rapid charging process; and an alternative charging device controlling the normal speed charging device to alternatively charge another battery in the normal speed charging process while waiting for the rapid charging process.

  • Publication number: 20120049786
Abstract: A vehicle carries a battery package as its power source. Plural battery modules in the battery package respectively have a memory device for memorizing identification information that proves authenticity of each of the battery modules. A battery control unit in the vehicle has an authentication unit. The authentication unit determines whether or not each of the battery modules is a compliant battery. When the battery module is determined as non-compliant, a control unit restricts a travel of the vehicle. Under a restricted condition of traveling, damage of the vehicle as well as deterioration of vehicle's reliability due to use of the non-compliant battery are prevented.

  • Patent number: 5429902
Abstract: An electrophotographic toner composition comprising toner particles containing at least a colorant, a binder resin and an additive, and an image formation method using the toner composition are disclosed, wherein said additive is an additive prepared by surface-treating titanium dioxide fine particles having less than 0.2% by weight of a water-soluble content with a surface treating agent by a wet process. The toner composition is excellent in chargeability, environmental stability of charging, toner admixing properties, and durability. The toner composition hardly adheres to a contact charging member and, even if it does, it causes no reduction in charging performance of the contact charging member and provides a satisfactory image.
