  • Publication number: 20020152061
Abstract: A data processing system that simulates operation of a processor for an application program including instruction sets is provided by this invention. To solve the problem that an instruction cycle of each of the instruction sets is performed with plurality of pipeline stages in the processor, the data processing system comprises cycle-level simulating means for simulating operation of the processor controlled by the application program in cycles of the pipeline stages. By the cycle-level or based simulation of hardware using a high-speed simulator written in a high-level language such as C language, it becomes possible to provide a simulator that maintains the same level (cycle basis) of accuracy as a conventional RTL-based simulator but that operates with between several hundred and several thousand times the simulation speed.

  • Patent number: 5889682
Abstract: A clock routing design method enables a routing design for each hierarchy while paying an attention to each layout hierarchy to which a branch of a clock signal system extends and considering a whole chip. In the clock routing design method, a clock signal line is routed between a plurality of receiver terminals over a plurality of layout hierarchies while considering an equal-delay branch point yielding equal delays of a clock signal at the receiver terminals, the clock signal line is then routed between the equal-delay branch point positioning between the plural receiver terminals and the driver terminal. The clock routing design method is applicable to a layout design of wire patterns, cell, etc. on LSIs, printed circuit boards and the like.

  • Patent number: 5367830
Abstract: A roof-side weather strip is provided to be attached along a front pillar of a motor vehicle. The weather strip has a base portion adapted to be engaged with the front pillar, and a tubular sealing portion projecting from a front end part of the base portion for closing a gap between the front pillar and a front end edge of the door frame. A rib-shaped projection is formed integrally with a bottom of the tubular sealing portion so as to project within the tubular sealing portion. In the lower end portion of the roof-side weather strip, the seal wall of the sealing portion is bonded to a top end of the rib-shaped projection so that the seal wall has a reduced height relative to that of the remaining portions thereof, and has a configuration conforming to the approaching track of the front end edge of the door frame when a door of the vehicle is closed.

  • Patent number: 4964620
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a weatherstrip is provided which includes the step of connecting a first extruded component and a second extruded component, each having surface treated portions and cut to a predetermined length, by means of a molded connecting portion which is molded by forcing molding material into the cavity of a mold defined by inserting and setting the first and second extruded components in the mold. The step of molding the molded connecting portion is performed by forming separating slits in a third extruded component which is cut to a length shorter that the length of the molded connecting portion and has surface treated portions such that these separating slits extend along the surface treated portions from both ends to an intermediate section and by setting the thus prepared third extruded component in the mold such that the surface treated portions are in line with the surface treated portions of the first and second extruded components.

  • Patent number: 4908989
Abstract: A door glass-run for automobiles is used in the fitted state to the frame of a car-door whose window opening is divided vertically by a division-bar such that a liftable-window and a quarter-window assembly are fitted to the window opening with the division-bar constructing part of the quarter-window assembly. The glass-run comprises a roof-side portion for holding the respective upper sides of the liftable-window and the quarter-window which includes a design lip disposed outside the car, and a division-bar portion branched from the roof-side portion. The roof-side portion is made of an integrally extruded component. The roof-side portion is notched at a branch section, from which the division-bar portion branches, to define a notched portion which includes at least the design lip. The notched portion is connected at its face on the side of the liftable window via a molded portion with a separate division bar portion.
